Default Guide to Quick & Easy High PR Backlinks

Looking for backlinks is sometimes a drain on a webmaster's time, but it shouldn't have to be that way. Building high PR links to all my sites is now only a matter of 15 mins per day using this method. Here goes:

Step 1 - Find a website which has some comment spam on it.

Step 2 - Look at the websites being "promoted". If you've worried about on-niche backlinks, look for sites in your niche. Personally, I try any site.

Step 3 - Go to backlinkwatch.com and check the backlinks for one of these websites you've found. It lists all the links pointing to the spammers site, and tells you if its nofollow or ********.

Step 4 - Go through the ******** links, using an SEO plugin to check the page rank. Soon you will find a PR4 or PR5 which is ******** and non moderated. Leave your comment

Step 5 - Look at the commenting system, try to identify what makes it unique. Then, create a search operator and put it into google. I will give you an example:

    "Add/Change #*" Comment "change properties"

Other identifiers are found in the url. To search for these, google inurl:

Some of the time, it won't work, but sometimes it does and you get a big list of other sites using the same commenting system.

Step 6 - Back to your PR5 ******** site you found earlier, do a site: search on the domain and you'll have a list of all the pages in thet domain. It might help to put "add a comment" or whatever the add comment text is into google too to isolate pages where you can comment. Use SEO for firefox to check the PR of each page, go through the results and pick out the best ones.

A word of advice, don't bother with PR1 and below. Waste of time imo

Most sites you put into BLW will be white hat, in which case all you'll see is article directories and organic links - not what we want. Keep putting different spammer sites into backlink watch, and you will find one which has been using blackhat tactics. Keep going, you will find a good site sooner rather than later. And one good site leads to others in a never-ending spam trail.

Nowadays, when i'm making a new site, I just turn to my reserve of spam megasites and get a set number of easy links per day. It's very time-efficient.

    Criticism of this method:

About half of the "spam megasites" you find will have a high number of OBLs, for me the generally high PR makes up for it.

i do exactly the same way... a good Way to start is analyzing Link Trade Partner...its not only for spam links but you will find Backlink sources you never thought of....

also you should analyze every top20 Website in your Niche anyway

this is new to me when i go to backlink watch and put the site in, the sites that come up not all show whether its a nofollow or ********. im assuming the ones that show it being blank means its a ********? However when I have my seo for firefox turned on it highlights all the links meaning all the links for this one example site i used were highlighted as nofollow. none of the sites had any page rank or that column was left blank which I found odd since the first site I put in there was a page ranking 4 blog. any input that can help me find these spam sites easier?

Yes, blank means ********. Technically, there is no such thing as ********, just the absence of NoFollow, hence the blank space. Unfortunately, Backlinkwatch does not show page-rank, you need to load up the pages to see the PR.

and SEO for firefox has highlighted the BLW links because these links, from BLW to the target site, are indeed nofollow

I believe that this Micallef's stuff has much more quality than "Angela's backlinks packs", where you get backlinks from high pr domains (not pages). And you must manually register on those Angela's forums...
thanks Micallef, I will try your method.

The only problem with this technique is at best it will bring you on par with your competition. What we want is to go 1 better than them.

    Perhaps,

But the point I was trying to make, is that this will only be one part of your **************, and as the other sites already have aged backlinks from the same page you will recieve less from them, furthermore you will be diluting the outbound juice from that page.

I often check competitors backlinks, with the attitude of doing 20% more to outrank them. Especially if the competing page is a PR0 with no age, easy to outwork and then out compete them.

I guess there's always a risk if it's spam. You can build links in a nice way which is index by search engines and will give you the page rank that you need.

Thanks for sharing, it's more powerful than most of you know..

I'll give you a hint, figure out how the spammers are finding the sites, then you get their first and before the site is known as a "spam community".. good luck

Anyway I love this method.. It really help me ^^ but instead of checking it with backlinkwatch i prefer checking it with Google, because all of the result would be ********, and it's a lot easier to check the PR without have to visit it one by one first..

Using this method, it is easy to find High PR ******** backlinks. However, if you want to be picky about the topic of the backlink site as-well, then your job will be a little harder. This is because most spammers do not keep their backlinks on topic.

They use the right anchor text for their backlinks, maybe surrounding their link with some words related to the site so google picks up on it. They usually consider this to be good enough and so do I.

However, yeah, if you are worried about only getting backlinks from discount health care sites, you will have a job finding them with this method. Spammers just tend to spam everything I'm afraid

Thanks for your posts Micallef, you've shared a lot of helpful stuff on these forums that have really helped me.

One question about this step. I'm not sure if you meant that the text should be put into Google exactly as you wrote it:

    "Add/Change #*" Comment "change properties"

Problem being that Google will not search for the # sign. There is actually a content manager / blog platform that uses a # inside its URL. Problem is, Google won't allow # as a search perameter. This is a great shame as this particular blog platform is usually un-moderated and ********.

    Any suggestions?

I have to admit that the operator I gave there wasn't the best example. Here's another small example of the sort of thing I mean. Copy and paste into google:

"Powered by Community Server (Commercial Edition), by Telligent Systems" "In reply to"

If you want to PM me the blog platform that's giving you trouble, I'll see if I can come up with a working search operator for you.

    Micallef

One question about this step. I'm not sure if you meant that the text should be put into Google exactly as you wrote it:

    "Add/Change #*" Comment "change properties"

Problem being that Google will not search for the # sign. There is actually a content manager / blog platform that uses a # inside its URL. Problem is, Google won't allow # as a search perameter. This is a great shame as this particular blog platform is usually un-moderated and ********.

    Any suggestions?

Step 4 - Go through the ******** links, using an SEO plugin to check the page rank. Soon you will find a PR4 or PR5 which is ******** and non moderated. Leave your comment

that's the hardest part by far I imagine. This isn't 2004.

When you do this for a while, you begin to learn what a usable site's url will look like. You can cut out useless sites at a glance.

The time it takes to process a backlink report of 1000 depends on the number of likely candidates there are to check out on that report.

However, with seo plugins, you can check PR instantly. I commonly get through a profile, extracting over 20 backlink sites, in an hour or maybe less.

Step 4 - Go through the ******** links, using an SEO plugin to check the page rank. Soon you will find a PR4 or PR5 which is ******** and non moderated. Leave your comment

What is OBL? Sounds like a job for xrumer.....

Just give me the search terms and I'll find all those juicy site.

However, wordpress is nofollow and moderated by default right?

Considering that I post a lot about backlinks, I have to admit that my knowledge of automation i.e. xrumer is rather patchy. My present understanding is that it's an extremely expensive automated program that creates huge numbers of junk links to a site you specify, i.e. it's all about quantity over quality. Is that so? Or after a standard xrumer blast, could I expect to see a substantial amount of PR6 ******** sites in my backlink profile?

And yes, Wordpress is useless for backlinks. If I see even a hint that a site has anything to do with wordpress it's gone from my browser in seconds.

First of all thanks Micallef. This is a pretty nice concept. Found some nice pr links, posted and currently waiting for the links to show up.

What I wanted to ask: Do you think google distinguishes that the linkback comes from a comment and that is not a 'normal' linkback?

this may have been said already but an alternative to backlinkwatch that does show PR is linkdiagnosis.com

oh, and OBL is Outbound Links for the person who asked.

Hey Micallef.. Nice to see you helping around.......

I am kind of stuck in the first step

Step 1 - Find a website which has some comment spam on it.

What would be an ideal and quick way to do that?

Excellent caution with one caveat. I have a poker site (purchased) with a ton of high pr comment spam links to it, but the PR of the poker site is miserably low...

What it tells me is that google can easily figure out blogs that allow spammy unmoderated comments (by looking at the 'buy viagra' comments posted), so it can discount those blog pages.

If I am correct, it is better to comment on pages that are "under the radar" i.e. are not showing any "buy viagra" links.

This is my personal experience. Comments are appreciated.

P.S. I gave 'thanks' and a 'rep' to OP.

    Thanks!

    +1

This sets the wheels in motion, but finding a blog with comment spam doesn't appear to be as easy as one thinks.
