Hi guys

Woke up today to find that 14 of my main sites have all had a manual action from google (confirmed via WMT).

All sites, have been linked to by my own PBN and had kept their rankings for the past 6-12 months.

Im not going to lie, 99% of the links come from my PBN, and if you found my PBN domains, they are blatantly obvious that only exist for creating links.

I am kind of desperate to see some rankings from these niches again asap as its Christmas coming up and I have promised my son alot of presents (oops)

Im guessing that there could be more penalties due as I have another 10+ sites linking from the PBN

What do you guys think I should do? 301 the sites to new domains?

Should I let the pbn expire and start a fresh or could I still use the network?

There are alot of schoolboy errors on my part, but hey, shit happens and its a lesson learnt. Its just a shame that it has happened at this time of year and the fact that I have not had a manual action against me in YEARS makes me feel like I dont know what to do :scared1:

EDIT: Forgot to mention, non of the sites were link to WMT before they got hit. After the rankings dropped, I added a handful of sites to a fresh WMT account to check for a manual action

Now please don't say that all 14 were on the same WMT, and used links from same PBN sites.

Because

a. 1 gets penalty - all gets penalty
b. That is a big ass PBN footprint

Try 301, nothing to lose...

I'd take down the PBN immediately before your other sites gets penalties. You should wash your hands of the PBN and grovel in your reconsideration request.

Start rebuilding immediately because after you discover that they won't rescind their penalty, at least you'll already have a head start on your more secure version.

//And lulz at creating a super secret PBN and then linking to them all from one WMT.

I just send you PM. If you want to recover all websites I can help.

Did your PBN sites get deindexed or something or just the money sites?

Were they hidden so crawlers can't see them? If not, competitors report PBNs all the time.

Only about 50% of the domains (the older ones) blocked crawlers. Not one of the domains, PBN or money site, has been deindexed

Damn 14 sites at one time.

I would leave the pbn alone and start a new one just to be safe.

That sucks dude. I think you just need to learn lesson and start again - at least you know exactly what works so you just need to build again.

But this time keep the PBNs separated - at least have some separation so they wont get all hit together again and also create separate web-master accounts for your sites - or again at least some separation otherwise you have all your eggs in one basket so to speak.

Like someone suggested, kill the site, copy the content onto the new site

I'm pretty sure this was your problem: "Im not going to lie, 99% of the links come from my PBN, and if you found my PBN domains, they are blatantly obvious that only exist for creating links."

It's perfectly fine to use your PBN for multiple money sites, but you need to make sure that you'll get links from other platforms too. Getting links from just your PBN is a huge footprint.

You say spread across 4 hosts, so how many pbn domains you have?

I'll bet you have had all your sites in one WMT account.... that is how they get you.... you made it way to easy, they only had to go down that list too see what else was up with your sites.

so did your money site also receive a manual action? Google is making it trickier for us to spot penalties if they don't deindex the PBN domains.
