As you know, people use Ebay affiliate (from CJ) to make money and if you can get someone to signup under your referal link, you get $25 bucks instantly.

I was just thinking a simple way to make the profits quickly which is offer them a $5 (by sending thru PAYPAL) just simply asking them to sign up under your affiliate Ebay link and therefore you earn $20 straight away after the $5 cost. I reckon that's even better than using Adwords since I am sure many people know what Ebay is or have it already. Even though they may have the ebay account already, I think it won't hurt for them if they sign up again since I am offering $5 to them (provided they have an extra credit card). So if you do it to 5 people a day, you earn $100 already!!!

What do you guys think? I have not yet tried but this is one of the idea I came up with while I was driving back home

cashback programs always exist, but be aware that is considered "incentive" traffic and some programs dont allow.

Why pay $5 when you can pay them pennies on dumbledoo or what ever it is called.

You are correct.. The person must place a bid before you get credit for the sign-up.

They just have to bid, they don't have to win. So you can tell the user to bid on one of those auctions that start at $0.99 but for sure are going to sell for a lot more...

If a user already has an eBay account, are they allowed to register another one? Using a different credit card I'm sure it can be done, but wouldn't eBay make the link?

They have to make sure to register with real info too.

What about signing up for leads yourself? Creating accounts using AOL dial-up connections or public wifi connections? Using a VCC and an actual address wouldn't that work as well? Anyone try this before?

Just use proxies instead of goin to all that hassle too.

Sounds very similar to what I have been doing but with poker sites. I made 600 in a month just with one site (Party Poker). They pay $75 per recruit and I was giving people $25. (min deposit to be considered a real money player). The player only has to gain 5 party points to be a real player and your affiliate account is instantly funded. The thing about Party Poker is they let you transfer money form your affiliate account to fund new players and you still get the credit for signing them up. So it is pretty easy to recruit because you can check sign-ups first then quick cash transfer from your affiliate acocunt once they sign up with the cashier at the poker site.
