Ok so tons of people love nulled scripts and templates.
Now we all know you can get them anywhere now if you goto other forums and mirror everyones shares.

The only twist would be that you edit the templates and encrypt the footer to remotely include your .php in this php you could have your cookie stuffing, (we will not talk about that here), gateway pages, or other ads.

If you always encrypt the footer.phps they wont easily remove it, and this will include your stuffing or anything else.

Most scripts also have embeded adsense or places where ads can appear, you could easily slip yours in on every template you share, or script. Its always best to remotely include your ad here so you can change it at anytime and keep a track of what sites have your ads on it. So if your good at scripting you could show different ads for different sites requesting etc...


Dont want to see this happening here. Use this on other places that share scripts.

But some of your shares will go crazy and be shared and shared elsewhere so its an easy source for traffic.

Another idea would be to remotely hide it say its a vbulletin script.
Find an image that would be non noticeable an example being this
http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackha...apse_thead.gif

Now change that to be yoururl.com/images/styles.collapse_thead.gif
Then when your ready replace this with htacess to forward this .gif to your stuffing page.
Easy cash and very unnoticable. And pretty viral have fun.

They might, however, I know of many free forum sites that people can register on and have a free forum with ads from their host on it. I'm pretty sure the ads are adsesnse.

Just because i use adsense as an example does not mean you have too, you can replace those with any ads

This method is sick you just gave me some ideas

this would work good with maybe having a huge wordpress theme page, and offer tons of wordpress themes for free, and put your 'stuff' in the footer of the themes.

Ya thats what I was thinkin too, not just the footer but anywhere that wouldnt be noticeable like maybe some secondary images if its a premium theme people will not be as good at navigating through all the files to try to find it, but if its like classic theme it would be pretty easy to spot an extra.

only problem is that cheap people don't have access to htaccess, and htaccess is a lot easier to get rid of then say, an encoded footer. (You could say something along the lines of:

Yea just hope they don't use their templates for porn sites and warez if your going to get backlinks from it.

a good blackhat seo.... i like the part.. were you say just don't do it here...

couldn't this lead the person who gets the template or script(warez scene or forums) to hack your site for putting this stuff into the once clean script or template....

i wouldn't personally mess with the warez community.... just some thoughts before you go putting a site with your personal info(if you are involving money then your involving a bank account) into scripts and templates that could be found at a warez site...

otherwise good thoughts outside the box....

Thanks Harro for this great idea. I had used templates for getting backlinks before but this idea is definitely worth trying. As we do not have any control over how and where these templates/scripts may be used, which cookies do you advise to stuff there to bring home the bacon?

This is a great idea. I'm currous though when you say remotely do you mean that the php will call the script from your site? I'm wondering if it would be possible to determine the type of site as well so you can taylor your ads or other things to that site to target it more.

Brilliant idea, just thought about it, 100 downloads = 100 stuffs, then if each website got 10 hits, that's 100*10 stuffs. 1,000 cookie stuffs from 1 file being uploaded. It sound's like a great source of extra-income I have to admit :P

harro with this method pin pointed one of the reasons you have to be careful using nulled or pirated scripts, ive seen peoples sites get phishing site installed in subfolders a few weeks later... ie cloned bank sites, credit card gateways, etc

but this is great if your on the other side of knocking out templates, you only have to look at legit template sites that include backlinks in the footers and see there pagerank to see this works wonders, but the csing is a bad ass twist

After reading this I am guessing I shouldn't use the Wordpress templates in the download section.

Me too, I am felling paranoid now as I using only free and nulled theme, and nothing could guarantee this is not happening even if it is a paid theme.

Is there a way I can scan the theme with nusphere? what search string should I use to identify it?

Before adding any links of your own.
Search for http, Any images or includes using it are getting them from external sites. comment or delete them and then try the theme to make sure you havent removed something essential.

You can do this with plug in as well. unless it expressly need to check a remote server for functionality (askimet for example) dont let it and see if it still works.

Obviously if its encrypted this wont work, but its a good way to track down simple hidden stuff.

You never want to leave a remote image on a site you control as it can be anything. From redirecting at the remote end using htaccess to malicous code, to something as simple as a harmless spacer.gifone day being replaced with a 5000x5000 image of a mexican donkey show the next day.
