Improving SERP by faking traffic from Google

I am thinking of writing a bot that will do the following:

1. Use a random US proxies from a list that is daily updated.
2. Perform a Google search for a random keyword that my blog is already ranking for.
3. Once the search is performed, the bot will choose to follow a link in the SERP to my blog and randomly browse through my blog as if it s normal user.
4. The bot will run 24/7 and hits will be randomly spread.

What do you think of such bot? Any suggestions are more than welcome. If it is a good strategy I intend to release a free service for anyone to use.

There are many others doing it, it has been proven to be effective to improve ranks in the SERPs, but I did not try it myself. I'd like to hear what results will it bring to you, so go for it

There are at least 4/5 bots that already do this. The truth is ... they don't work and actually damage rankings.

It might work because it will increase your CTR and CTR is one of Google's ranking factors. I'm not sure how much of an effect it will have on your rankings, but it should produce some positive results.

Serpify.me here from BHW is doing this. There's another one, I forget...but also a member here.

With serpify, you have to form part of a network where you will be silently browsing other members' website. There is a stipulated ratio based on how much you pay.

With my strategy, you will have a server that will do everything for you. You will have a CP where you will control which keywords you want to target and how many pages the bot must visit.

My question is this: is it worth the hassle. It still seems like that this topic is still surrounded with a lot of questions.

You must have high quality proxies then, because public proxies are already busted and you will only harm your rankings.

agreed! I think there was a bot called "Magic bot" back in the day...it worked for maybe all of a month then it just tanked

It's risky with proxies, the best way is with exchange based system to earn points. That way it's real IP from VPS or from Home PC.

Do you have proof that using public proxies will harm your seo? If yes then such services can help you by doing it on your competitors

You can't just have proxies, I think it has to emulate a real browser with user agent etc.

Trust me on this mate, user agent, os, device , referral and any other header can be faked.

I am a software developer and it can be done quite easily

Im using traffic bot from diaboliclabs.com and it does all that. scrapes proxies, test the proxies agaist google to see if they black listed and have a script that make a search in google and click on your link

The main feature of that bot is as a Traffic Bot, so I would have given it a try but then I noticed:

I have tried about 2 of the bots faking traffic from google based on keywords. I tested each one for more or less than 1 month.
Haven't seen any improvement. Not even on keywords with no competition.

It won't work if analytics is not installed on the site or bot uses IE object.
It won't improve Alexa Rank if bot uses browser instance without Alexa toolbar being installed.

So, I guess all bots currently available use IE object without Alexa bar, to estimate your success probability read this post from the beginning. :detective

Yeah I'm testing a service called crowdsearch me and it's sucks. I haven't seen any movement at all, so I'm calling bullshit on the whole hype that these services actually do anything.
