Just checked every page on my authority site hit by the update. ALL pages hit had very low keyword density on the page. Perhaps this new update once again upped the on-page keyword density required? Let me know if you've also found this on any of your hit sites.

Not Got Hit By the Update but People are saying that this Update is basically for Low quality Content/PBN and not about Keyword Density.

I write all my content myself. I'm a native speaker with A-Levels in English and heavily research all information I put on my site. Some of my best pages lost 10 to 20 positions. I found that the keyword density is very low (under 1%) on every page that slipped.
 
I have just built my first site with a KW density of 1%. Il keep an eye on your findings

I love those high quality articles are important and so on threads. You can even buy $100 per 100 words articles and for Google those are the same as $ 3 articles. It`s all about onpage SEO - how you present the article for visitors. How you divide the article into paragraps, do you have different headings, do you have images (and how these are placed and how big these are), do you use bullet points, do you quote and many other factors. Article quality is only for visitors - article structure is for Google. Quality article reduces bounce rate back to Google but it all depends also on the quality of your whole site. All my autogenerated content sites (cloaked of course and have 0 bounce rate back to Google) have survived. So with this conclusion my unreadable and auto generated content are way better that your A-Level English articles :)

You mean PBNs where people used one host, one domain registrar and no privacy, all these morons got hit and next thing you know people start to preach PBNs are dead. This place is getting seriously boring, the fact is not that PBNs got hit, but people who made it obvious to Google that they are trying to game them, they got hit.

Yeah this makes sense... It seems unlikely that a bot could accurately determine the quality of an article even though they DO have close to unlimited funds. I use the same format on all my pages (H1, 5 H2s) but only some slipped... So it could be to do with other things. Give me a minute I'll take a look and compare my hit pages to the pages which gained ground in the SERPs and let you know if I find any patterns.

Yes, Google has unlimited funds but think a little. How they can determine the quality of the article? Impossible. They can`t judge if one article has 5 grammatical mistakes and another has 3 grammatical mistakes and it should rank higher. Google can`t judge the value of the article if it`s useful for readers or not. But they can value the user experience (they can value it better if you have WMT and GA installed) by the bounce rate for example. If you have "high quality" article and the site looks like s*** (the design, used colors, many distractions like ads, popups, bad navigation and hundreds of other things) then you have also high bounce rate and 0 value to user. Google is an algorithm and follows exactly what it has to follow. And it only follows onpage (site and content structure) and offpage seo (backlinks).

Agree it is important to keep a user on your site for as many clicks as possible, this shows Google that the user is looking at someting they are interested in, I also agree the content should contain more than a 1% keyword rate, I found for one of my sites that I kept to 1% with my chosen keywords but as the articles had the word "fire" mentioned about 3%, not my keyword but an over site by me in a rush to write the article, I found I was ranking 90th place for "fire" and was not ranking for my keywords, even with url, title, and backlinks all being relevant to my chosen kewords. I did remove so many words with "fire" and dropped for this I have started ranking my keywords with the 2% but it's never a rush for me so we shall see how it goes.
 
Well on my website i have two keywords.. One dropped 20 places and the other went 20 places up.. Does this mean i am hurt by the update or am i getting positive rankings? I'm confused :S
 
I dont think keyword density could be the reason, many more factors that they look at. If you lost your usual rankings, check if you lose important backlinks a little while back.
