Someone help. I have been using cl for a while now and now Im getting "ghosted". This started about 4 days ago. I only post 8 to 10 ads a day...That's it. I have tried different emails, new ips and new content in every ad. I get about 2 maybe 3(if I'm lucky) up and the rest are ghosted. Anyone find a useful work round for this. I'm not gredy and I don't send out more then 10 ads a day. whatever the secret is, please share.

Different categories within Craigslist have different filters regarding what they block and what they allow through. So that part you kinda have to figure out on your own. But to boil it down, you can get ghosted for 3 different things:

1) Your ad copy - something in the ad not allowed by CL. Could be a hyperlink or domain name you included in the ad. If you're using image ads, well some categories do not allow them. It could also be a picture you are attaching to the ad.

2) Your CL user account

3) You IP address

Most likely it will be your ad copy. You will need to start with a very simple test post - text only with a new IP and account. Then keep adding aspects of your desired ad copy back in until it finally ghosts a post. Then you will know what caused the ghosting.

But plain and simple, if you are using a fresh IP and account then something in your ad copy is triggering the ghost. So we have to find what the culprit is by process of elimination.

Hope this helps

Yeah - I discovered that in some categories, my .info domains were getting ghosted. It probably didn't like the word 'info'. Of course, words like 'free' are almost guaranteed to get your ad ghosted. Good luck!

I haven't been using an account, just different emails, Will that make a difference. Also, I will try your methods, but I completly changed all my wording and I'm still only getting about half my posts live. I even got all new emails. That seemed to help some. I don't use any links or domain names and I don't put any kind of email address in my post.

I heard a guru on a teleseminar saying that Craigslist has a very sophisticated cookie program. So, I have been changing my IP address and clearing my cookies which seems to work at this time. But then again, it is sort of like a cat and mouse game.

I had a legit single physical job offering (for my other life) flagged after one day that I posted from a sanitized personal account, so who knows what goes on with Craigslist except Craig.

From my experience it is easier to get a listing to go live using an account. If you need some more specific help send me a PM and I would be happy to take a look at a couple of your listings. I have done quite a bit of Craigslist posting and troubleshooting lately.

I have a package I made up of the craigslist ebooks I could find so far.

Thanks for the upload rubixcubeman. I had a problem with your upload. What appears to be the main ebook because of its place in the file hierarchy, CraigslistProfitsMarketingSecrets.pdf, is one page with links to a book, an audio of the book, a teleseminar and transcript to the teleseminar. All the links in this ebook are all broken. Hostgator will sell you the website that you end up on. And why put ads, IfYouLikedThisClickOnAd4MePlease.url, and more than one. in your file. This site is not for this type of thing.

There are a couple of other Craigslist ebooks in this file which may be of some value to beginners.
