    Smile Free Articles

Will be posting some Free Articles on this thread
since I have a few minutes for writing since I've already
built my team of writers for my Article Writing Business.

You can use them in whatever way you want.

They are all my original writing and I have never posted them
    anywhere except BHW.

I like to write and I tend to write a lot.

So here are some of the samples of my work.

A little something for the members of my beloved BHW! :-)

Pardon me if I don't post often since I have a physical business
as well as an online business to attend to. :-)

Kindly leave a message here for me to write more. :-)

    The Philippines and Manny Pacquiao

The roar of the arena hasn’t been that loud lately for Mister Manny Pacquiao. In the Philippines and all over the world he has been considered the Best Fighter, but lately his presence in the Internet and in Television seems to get less and less. But for many Filipinos, The PacMan will always be considered as one of the Philippine’s symbols of hope and triumph.
Manny is a native of General Santos City, one of the more impoverished provinces of the Philippines. Many Filipinos have seen his rise from being a simple boxer on the sidelines to being one of the most reknowned fighters in the history of boxing. To many Pinoys he is what the ideal Filipino should be: humble, loving to his family, and Godfearing; not to mention richer than Donald Trump.

Every time that the “Pacman” has fought in any arena, the streets are quiet and the crimerate goes down. This is because almost every Filipino household is holding bated breath in front of the television. Every time Manny comes home he is greeted with thousands of followers with a parade on the streets of Manila.

Pacquiao is a symbol for every Filipino who has ever endured poverty. The shanty dwellers see him as a beacon of hope that one day, if they worked as hard as Manny has, they’ll be able to rise from eating only two meals a day and living in a house with only a sheet of steel as a roof with only a tire to hold it down. The blue collar workers see him as an inspiration that their work will one day bring good fruits for them and their families. That like Manny, they will be able to provide “over-flowingly” for their loved ones. To every Filipino he is Pride. Pride that even though the Philippines is a country besought with problems, an ordinary man can still rise to the top and overcome the cards that life has dealt him.

Go For Cheap, Go for Broke

There will always come a time when you look at your house and you'll say, "I think we need to have something done to the _______ ." That's just the way our minds work. Humans have this built in desire to improve stuff. Most often than not, even though nothing needs improving. But often times it's out of necessity. Either theirs a new baby coming home or your parents have to move in for one reason or another.

"Prevent a fire by hiring a professional to clean out your dryer vents." Those are the words that keep echoing in my mind while I was looking at the blown out dryer which I had my neighbor "fix" for free. All the while my husband was hitting his head on the bedroom door frame repeating, "Why do you always go for the freebies!"

During the times when you have to have something fixed or renovated at home, it's best to stick to the professionals. Budget is always an issue but you have to think of the long term. A balance of "how much" and "how well" should always be achieved. Most home owners would rather settle for the cheaper alternative. Cheap usually means you'll have to pay more later on. Cheap also means that instead of being able to host a home party in peace you'll have to have the guests leave early because the roof is leaking or that the toilets have gone nuts.

When choosing a contractor, plumber, carpenter or choosing the tools and materials needed for home improvement or repair always be sure to check that they are recommended. Nowadays it's easy to do that. Just log on to the internet and check the credential of the contractor or check the reviews for the materials and tools that you'll need. When doing this always keep in mind to check several reviews. Don't settle for checking one and immediately go for the service or product if the reviews are positive. Sometimes the first article or site that you go to will be the "official" site or the site that the product or service had made for them. This will most often than not give you a biased view of them. Check several links that you've Googled just to be sure.

Remember that Going for Cheap will eventually mean your Going for Broke.

    Boxed in Acrylic

Probably due to the fact that the internet is readily available to anyone and that Facebook is now a household term, public figures and famous people are now easily reachable by the public. I could find out what Justin Bieber had for lunch or what party Paris Hilton is going to tonight or even what type of dog Hugh Jackman is going to get for his nephew.

Public figures seem to actually be giving away their privacy to the public. Though some celebrities still choose to keep their private lives away from Social Media. But to those that do share so much information about themselves, there is a simple theory explaining why they would do this.

Celebrities live, day to day, secluded from the public. Secured away by their agents and entourage from the public. It may seem like they’re in a big human sized acrylic box, like those used to hold collectibles and memorabilia, except this time it’s built to hold them. An over-sized acrylic box that’s made to keep them from the world outside. It helps keep them feeling safe, secure and maybe even protected from the people that lift them on pedestals.

Maybe this is the reason why some feel the need to reach out through Twitter or Facebook. They want to feel connections aside from those that they have in show business. Social interaction, after all, is a basic human need, just like food and water. It’s not like Nicole Kidman can go to a local park and just hang out and meet her fellow dog owners. Social Media is a safe place for well-known people to have a normal interaction with their fans, safely. A place where they can break out of their acrylic box and just chat with people and be a regular Joe or Mary. To them it must be a liberating experience and a “regular Joe” experience that doesn’t end up with them being kidnapped by a stalker.

    Samsung Galaxy S4's Bloatware

The Samsung Galaxy S4 is an excellent phone in many ways. It is one of the fastest phones in the market, based on my experience reviewing mobile phones, but there are some things that donít do itís quick speed credit.

Bloat-ware has been arround for ages. Even way back when Symbian based phones weíre popular, carriers would install add ons that only made the phone slower and less easier to handle. The Samsung Galaxy S4 is no different.

Air View, Air Gesture, Smart Stay, Smart Pause, and Smart Scroll are some of the features that Samsung touted as killer add ons that the Galaxy S4 have. But to the day-to-day user they are of little use. This is mainly because they were carried out in a fashion that left a lot to be desired. There integration into the Androidís usage and interface are not very admirable. These features actually just leave your battery drained a lot quicker and just slows down the phones processing power without giving any large benefits to the user. In-short they are just bloat-ware.

Samsung should have just concentrated on the phoneís processing power and ease of use and the other many technical aspects that Android users have come to love about the Galaxy series of phones, specially in itís predecessor the Samsung Galaxy S3. If that weíre the case then Samsung could have probably pushed the sale of the Galaxy S4 even higher.

Now donít get me started on the various models that the Galaxy S4 is coming out on. That however is another article for another time.
