I'm having a website built and want it so the user is automatically redirected back to the site after a booking. It is working off a PayPal test account at the moment while it is being built and goes to the generic "thank you for your order" PayPal page after a booking where you can click "return to merchant's site". When I Google'd it it seemed to be a simple case of going into website payment preferences of PayPal and selecting auto-return. I've asked quite a few times for them to change it so it automatically redirects straight to a thank you page after a booking but it still hasn't been done so I am wondering whether it is more complicated. Is this true or am I missing something?
There was quite a few conflicting bits of info when I looked it up and some people say that you need a premium account for this to work and others say you can do it on a standard account. I looked at the features of the different accounts but it didn't give much indication. From what I can gather, a premium account allows you to integrate PayPal into your site so that they never leave your site rather than enabling auto redirects or anything.
If someone could shine a light on what's right and wrong here it would be appreciated.
