Just want to share my hapiness with all of you, i got my DMOZ today, after waiting waiting and waiting.
Hopefully this is the final push i need for the #1 spot in google, i have #2 spot now.

Thanks, yes it is very hard/comp only 1600 exact local searhes, but 44.000.000 results in google. Not much local searches but there is good money in it :-)
Thats why i need that #1 spot, hopefully this is the final push i needed.

Me too, how long did it take you? Any advice?

one of my site have listed on dmoz but no increase in ranking. Link directories have very little value in G's algorithm nowaday.

Iam realy sorry for you, i did nothing special, just submit every 4 monts, and take a look at your "stats" if you can see if a dmoz mod did visit your site, if they did not rank you submit agian, but with difference discription and take a look at site's that they did submit.

I actually stopped posting my domains in DMOZ, I could get some in some others I guess don't have reviews LOL. But I started to hate that even with no DMOZ meta tag Google show the short title and deceasing my CTR. I haven't submit a site in about a year.

But hey man congratx!! Hopefully it will push you to top.

Whatever you´re selling must make profit higher than $100 per sale, to be profitable with that low search.

Search volume is over rated these days. I have a site that targets a keyword with 1500 searches a month and makes me around $20 a day. On the other hand i have a site ranked for a 20,000 keyword and barely makes $100 a month.

Its all about the niche and audience ie. are they hungry for your product/download.

Congrats mate! Now, scale up, build more sites, target more competitive keywords, rank them up and see the money rolling in!

Key#2 has 8100 elsm
Key#3 has 15500 elsm

But it is hard, after 2 monts stil on # 31 and #53

Congrats, now your a part of the club . It only took my site 2 weeks to get listed, and also my editor application being approved at the same time.

Yes, that's correct. Maybe that 1500 searches a month is for a buying keyword so yes, there it is from where it comes the cash.

Could be treu, i did submit my site the first time and then it had a PR0.
Last month i did get a PR5 (yes the site did get a PR5 in only 3 month's from PR0 to PR5)
