So after a lot of reading here, I've been creating numerous backlinks (in the form of web 2.0, other links from my niche, comments, etc). Been doing a lot of it. And have most the links documented.
I've read quite a bit about how you should let Google get to some links 'naturally', while other places I've read you should use some kind of crawling service to get your links indexed.

I'm not sure how to proceed really...I usually work pretty hard for some of my backlinks (contacting website owner, getting it approved, etc) so I would definitely want it to get indexed. Should I be using some service for this? If so, can some people please recommend a few top ones and I can compare ?

Thanks a lot BHW!

You can head to fever for link building services. Or hire any gut to do link building for you. I hired a person lately and he has done pretty good job.

I don't want to do link building...I need to know what I should do once I've built links. How to get them indexed...

You don't necessarily need crawling services to index your links but they help.
Also, you can build tier2 links to your first tier links to help them get indexed faster.

lindexed, backlinksindxer, linklicious are some of the best indexing service there is. :) i also dont ping the links that are directly pointing to my money site, instead i ping those that are pointing to my tier 2 and 3. :)

Lol at people telling you to get back linking services from Fiverr what you are doing is perfect and you run a very low risk of getting smacked by google like people that use fiverr will, but you can use the 3 index services the guy above posted or just wait for google to crawl them.

They will find them naturally or I find a good way to get them indexed is by added the URL into a YouTube video, I index my new sites this way most of the time it only takes a few hours.

If your website is new, then try to get more contextual links like more web 2.0s, blog posts, guest posts and like that, more you need social signals which help to index your website as well as back-links fast, do posting on niche relevant forums and leave your website link in signature, this is the most legit way in getting natural traffic to your website. And never crawl your back-links, leave this matter on Google, Google takes almost 4 to 6 weeks and index your quality back-links.

I've been using Magic which I've had make 3 tier link building which has worked really well - everytime I ping the links (I was never a lover of pinging until I met Magic!) the sites tend to shift up a place or two,
They've also integrated with a link indexer service but it's a monthly subscription and I've been getting good enough results to be bothered spending the extra $$$ for now
good luck!

Quality links don't need to be indexed, they get indexed naturally.

Thanks a lot guys for all your responses, really appreciated. Read each one and learned something new from most :)

In response to this - "more you need social signals which help to index your website as well as back-links fast"

- Do I need most social signals directed at my money site, or should I be aiming for some towards my web 2.0 as well? Also, my site has good content and such, but I really am not able to get too much social activity right now at least.

Is it acceptable to get social signals (for $ site) purchased from services here? If so, can anyone recommend a few good ones for $ site directly?

Thanks a lot everyone
