Use a pay phone to phone verify. Basically, use a smartphone with proxie to fill form and have the verification call sent to the pay phone. Rinse and repeat. Don't know if it works, but its hard to find a forum where CL is even mentioned these days.

All of the Craigslist talk is hidden from normal members. You have to be a Jr VIP or high to see all of the private sections.
