Almost everyone here can vouch for BB's blog network. An awesome guy with an awesome service.

Personally I would find one that is not so public, yes public ones work but only for so long until they get hit. Or go white hat and try some guest posting

You wont find the good private networks in the buy sell or actively advertised in these kind of threads.

I use a network that has been private for well over two years now and not a blip in service since using them. But again you aren't gonna find them advertised.

Go for non-greedy services that are utilized by the people that own them and are vested into their success.
