Almost all my sites are down like 20 spots for most keywords.

Dunno for sure, but something has been going on since Friday. One of mine dropped 20 - 30 spots on a lot of keywords but was back up by the next day.
 
I don't think so. All my websites are pretty much doing the same. Good
 
I have some that see fluctuating alot and some that are not. Seems like the next day or same afternoon the rankings come back. Just a lot of bouncing happening....
 
Certainly not a panda/penguin update, but yes there was an update of some kind this morning and yesterday as well

I have seen the same as the OP so my guess is yes, Google is seeing how many people it can piss off before Christmas.
 
Yes, lots of bouncing. Down 20, up 20, down 20, up 20.
 
Something is going on! I have seen extremely good rankings the last 2 days.
 
Noticed a huge crash for text based sites on Saturday, but bounced back up next day. Sites with rich media stayed same.
 
1 site has dropped 1 spot, 3 sites trying to get to recover from Panda/Penguin :( I think all this changes is to force people to buy adwords....otherwise how the hell will a business survive - all my competitors have dropped too :)
 
I see no change on my sites. If there is any updates, I look forward to receiving info here, all guys!

all this happened after the Google EMD update? are thes micro websites?
 
If someone says his ranking is good or going up please check their signature.. Is this Coincident? :p
 
Yes, I can confirm that something is happening. In google Argentina, google Mexico results have gone down.


I'm tracking all my keywords in almost all search engines, and at 3:00AM GMT +1 of saturday, almost all my keywords drop down 20 - 30 positions, and the long tails without links drop down 140 positions or more.


After one day some keywords return losing some positions and others one didn't have returned yet.


The "update/panda/penguin/..." has been done at 3:00AM GMT +1 of Saturday night.


My main search engine google spain, also have some fluctuactions but not too much strong.

Anyone knows something?

Yes, this past weekend; nothing to do with the EMD update, and the affected site is not an EMD, and is not a micro site.

Oddly, when the rankings dropped, traffic increased slightly, but for other, long-tail keywords.
