Exclamation Are we SAFE here? State of Emergency

I was doing a casual search on Google and I was put a little on edge. I typed in Brring.com and F*CK Brring.com from the Shit list section of this forum popped up #5 on the first page of the search results! I'm thinking to myself, no wonder people are getting caught. Methods are being broadcast live and in stereo on the World Wide Web. Its like saying: "Hey look at us we're about to cheat you." Is it possible for this forum not to allow spiders to crawl here or should we just walk around here on pins and needles speaking in code? I guess I should put up a poll.

Probably a good idea..i also noticed the site coming up while searching for a few bits and pieces.

Dont think it will happen though, if this was your forum would you stop the spiders coming? Certainly not!

At the end of the day the search engines bring the traffic and thats what its all about!

It is a nonsense to disallow spiders. I see at the moment Google lists over 3000 pages of BHW, and this is very good. I don't know how you've found this forum, rahizzle21, but I've found it by searching on Google for some topic of my interest.

To keep the forum alive there is need for having it accessible by search engines.
There is no need to be paranoiac about. I say, if somebody tries to hide the forum, then willingly or unwillingly he is trying to sentence it to death.

I don't agree to let the forum be diminished in any way.

I've did a casual search on the Internet for hxxp and I've found 443,000 results.
A search for "black hat techniques" resulted in
32,400 results.
"black hat"+"make money" gave 166,000 results.
search term learn+black+hat pops up 851,000 indexed pages in Google.
My nick used exclusively here, "artswerdstone" gives 98 results on Google (shame it is only 98, after over 250 posts).

So what?

I voted who cares. You can't and it would be stupid not to allow the spiders in. The site grows because of the content on this site. What everyone should do which is what I've been doing lately is put links in the Code tags. Or if you're talking about say the site mentioned in the first post type B-R-R-I-N-G or
Code:
Brring
. Supposedly the search engines don't grab the Code tags, although google does have their code database (don't know if this would show up in there) but I doubt affiliate programs are going to search the code database (at least for now).

The way I see it is, everyone here should know that anything you post directly WILL get indexed. So be smart about it and don't write a whole websites url in your post if you dont want the owner to see it.

I found it through someone trying to sell methods from here on DP. They were exposed by BHW members on that forum. Googles not bad, but I've noticed that the best stuff for me was found outside Google.

So it is and so it must be, but expect that the best ideas of people in this forum to not be discussed here. As a blackhatter, you must exercise extreme caution. A slight slip up can cost you dearly. Hopefully, you should know that as you are in this forum. No wonder the pros are so tight lipped.

Full exposure may diminish the forum anyway. The more public it is, the more watered down it will get.

Good idea with the code, but you are actually right about the content. Cutting edge content will not be here. I would prefer, if the forum grew by word of mouth. Quality over quantity always. I'm sure members wouldn't mind donating money to keep this site uncrawled.

You have no choice, as the authorities have spoken.

I'm not worried about that. I'm concerned with the ideas here. I want them to be as unrestrained as possible. Those are the best ones. Maybe we could have a section that isn't crawled at all that requires a high amount of posts and reps to get in.

The poll has spoken: People have slept with Monica Lewinksy.

Well, anybody remembers what happened to SpecialHam ? I am a noob, but I think it would be good if Google just indexes a few parts of the site ( just to get the interested ppl coming ) but not the scripts, links, etc

If sites want to find out what is going on here, they will find this site and join. Even if it is not in the search engines. It is better to have new people joining and contributing.

I would go for a non spidered section that would be a subscription(paid) (i have joined 1 of these on a forex forum) Just to get the best info.
