Backlinks service providers.. Does anyone noticed this?

Hi,

2 Months back, my adwords account was banned with the reason "your site is selling backlinks, which is breaching adwords terms & conditions". After my ban, still i saw many ads shown everywhere in search engines.

Today I noticed, there was no single ad showing in search engines for keywords related to "backlinks".

Does google banned every advertiser who is building backlinks? or its just me who is seeing no ads?

If they banned all advertisers, is it mean this could be the major upcoming updates hinting the backlinks service providers?

That's pathetic.

I guess Google is taking the fight to the backlink providers. How can Google say it doesn't hate SEO. It is evident more and more every day.

Google is just trying to shape the internet the way they want it and penalizing anything and anyone they don't like.

I smell a class action lawsuit coming.
 
Same with me , cant see any ads related to backlinks .

Fingers crossed for upcoming update ?
 
But ads for kws related to seo services are still showing up...

seems to be google hate "backlinks" or "backlinks service providers".
 
Don't see any backlink ads. Google.com / Google.com / Google.com.mx all the same. Interesting stuff.
 
so guys, is it targeting according to countries?
 
What about keywords like "SEO" Search engine optimization".... "search engine marketing" ...

I would say that is a safe assumption. Maybe it's USA only that are showing ads.

I even tried switching browsers and clearing cookies, and got the same results.

I ran adwords with the keyphrase you mentioned before, there are no ad for "backlinks" backlink" "link building" God knows what google is thinking.

What country are you in?

The speculation at this point is based on certain geographical areas.

am from the uk, those keyphrase i mentioned there are no ads for them in .co.uk and .com
 
Doesn't surprise me. It seems like an obvious move on Google's part if they are trying to prevent this sort of manipulation of their search engine.
 
Plenty of returns of ppc on .co.uk
