How To Hire An Indian SEO person?

Hey guy, i want to create a new self help website within the SEO niche and would like to hire an indian SEO guy to help me, do you guy know where i should go for such help, thanks

Just look in your E-mail spam folder. I get 20+ E-mails per day from India SEO experts. But their E-mails never hit my inbox. I have the keywords India, Delhi, etc. all set to send such E-mail right to my spam folder. It's one of the best decisions I've ever made in my life.

Had the worst experience in my life when hired an indian on ODESK.

No hate here, I don't discriminate anyone ( I have some good friends who are indians ) but I don't know why most of them which are on odesk do poor quality work...

Hi Micheal,

You can hire an Indian/Non-Indian SEO expert at sites like Freelancer/Elance/Odesk/Rentacoder/CloudCrowd etc.

If you are looking for indian as in cheap work, then I have bad news for you.

You get what you pay for bra, so don't be cheap.
 
You really do get what you pay for, unless you train your team well.
 
I'd go to Digital Point Forums. You can hire form $1/h but I suggest finding someone with very good English and experience and pay $2-3. You will get a lot more out of paying a better employee more money than underpaying an unqualified person. Not discriminating but understanding the work is the main idea.
 
explain what you want in " hire a freelancer" section... I am sure some one will help you out...
 
1 rotten apple spoils the whole bunch. If few Indians are spamming and are not good that doesnt mean others are not. You cant classify that Indians suck are SEO..

The best thing would be to interview that guy and ask him some questions and even ask him about his past work. That is the right way to hire not by looking at the country from which that person is coming from :(
 
not discriminating or anything but my personal experience has been bad with hiring some indians for seo work. i believe most of them on odesk/freelancer are newbies who spend a couple of months on forums like BHW etc to get some basic knowledge about seo, grab some cracked tools and are just looking to make a quick buck, and end up doing more harm than good especially if the person hiring doesn't really know that much about seo. it really is true that you get what you pay for.

but that does not mean that indians as a whole suck at this. I am sure there are some kick ass indians around who really know their stuff and are professionals who would do the work at competitive rates. Communication is the key for any successful hire IMO
 
You are posting in the wrong section mate! try the freelancer's section and you would get what you are looking for and also explain what is this self-help website, will it offer some kind of automation?
 
There are many talented Indian SEO guys. I myself work with a guy I met here with lot of positive results. It depends on your screening process, Your knowledge about SEO & your ability to work with/Get the best out of the guy. You just have to break it down to them and keep an eye on everything. Down to every link built by him. Don't treat them like slaves and Make sure you pay them well for their work and they will do miracles for you.
 
I have been trying Indian services, they sucks ! Article writing - Bad, Seo - Bad, Seo hosting - bad ! They know only how to send SPAM ! How many globally popular Porn, News or any websites you know from INDIAN - non ? That is the answer for seo !
 
Spammers are in all over the world. see Bigbuddy our Super Mod is an indian, he is not doing bad seo, so don't target country's mates
