Hi, last month and this month was really bad sales time. I have really bad earning especially this month.
I am affiliate for skin care products. I have one keyword that rank #1. In other months I can get 500 -700 per month from this website. Now I only get around 150. The traffic is still the same. Do you guys also having ad sales this month?

The global and US economy are in the toilet. We are just waiting for the election to finally be over so we can see which man will be the one doing the flushing here in the USA.

If you want to make money, create/monetize websites for the Chinese. Their growth is sucking the life out of many countries around the world.

Same happening with me, I am promoting CB products, Last month and this month going very bad in sells.

The GDP of America and Europe is still fucking huge. But if you guys want to stop marketing to us, that's cool with me.

Yea,it's a bad sales period for me too...

About chinese the true they will never buy CB product, they will try to find it for free or hack it :)

Bad sales for me too.. especially since very end of august. apparently when faced to a decrease in purchasing power, people tend to keep spending on holidays but reduce other stuff.. maybe they just spent all their money in the summer holidays. :(

August and early September dip is nothing new.
Been hapenning for years

Seasonality of individual markets [most people don't buy Xmas cards in June]
Seasonality of we based selling [people don't sit at their PC buying stuff in good weather, they do a lot more of it when the nights draw in and it gets colder]
Annual buying trends [People buy more over the holiday season full stop - web based or not]

All take a dip late Summer. Unless your selling bikinis or quick tan or BBQ's..expect a big lull (50%+ sometimes from Mid July for about 8-10 weeks) This is the 17th year it's happened to me - it's as regular as clockwork.

Yea it's tha same in my case..bullcrap... lost a lot of traffic and my ranking... don't know what's happening

This, plus one thing I've noticed long ago; people tend (or have) to spend a lot of money on school supplies like backpacks, books, etc. which can be an additional setback for other items.

I agree with the future financial outlook. Economists are saying falling down the fiscal cliff in the USA would lead to a recession, but it's my opinion that we're still in a depression. The only reason why economists don't call it a depression is that government spending is calculated as part of the national GDP. If excessive spending from debt was excluded from these figures, we never left recession in the first place.

Yeah - that will be a reason. I dodn't go into the specifics, but paying off vacations (and being skint when you get back)

2012 has seen my income to date rise by about 12% - but then I work 75+ hours a week and re-invest 75% of what I earn into content, sites and marketing.
There are "recession" markets as well (niches that improve with a recession or depression) and I've diversified into a couple of those.

Good to see people QQing and ragequitting though. I love it when that happens. The less competition the better.

lolz one dumb president opens his fat mouth about how we are in a slump, and people stop buying. People buy what they want, when they want. You expect to keep the same crap and keep making tons of money from it for years? IM is always about being new and fresh, and if people get tired of the same stuff, nothing new, they leave. The magic "stops" and people don't buy. What probably happened is that all the people that wanted to buy did, and the rest can't justify the price of buying from you. Now it is up to you find new ways to make people buy.

People talked shit about game sales, but when a good game comes out it sales jump through the roof no matter WHEN it gets released. People talked shit on Web Hosting how it is oversaturated and not many people are buying, BUT millions of buyers buying every month. Hmm, go and quit, or get new traffic sources. Now is not the time to just SIT, start up some PPC or even start expanding into new sources DON'T stagnate.

Definitely is a dip for me compared to last month, not huge by any means though.

But you can project 300-400 for this month I assume, that doesn't seem too bad for September.
