Default Craigslist idea - What do you think?

Pretty basic:
Find a niche on CL in the jobs or housing section. Post a decent ad using ip blocking. Setup goog autoreply with link to a subdomain at my site.
The only thing on the subdomain is the creative from the aff network which of course they click on and then are at the lead page.

My concern is this: I want to use the html code from the email creative as the code on the subdomain. Will my aff network know or care if I do this?

yes they will know.. the referrer will be your website. if they care to look they will see that. why not just put the link in the autoresponse and let them surf right to the lead page? then it will show up at the aff network that the lead did indeed come from an email.

I doubt it after all they are there to make money. Most affiliate programs I've been involved with encourage the lifting of copy and if I understand your question correctly then this is not much different.

I've done some similar things with CL as what you are talking about here with some decent results.

I'll give you and everyone else a variant to this one

First find an affiliate program in the niche you want to promote. Lets say we pick Dog Training. You can find some decent paying products on Clickbank. Look for one that has some decent copy on the sales page.

Then get you a yahoo or other free eail that allows out of office messages. We then post a classified that says something like.

I'm getting transfered andI cna't taking cute little doggyname with me. He is almost trained and a pleasure to know. I'm so sad but I have no choice. I will happily give him to someone who will love him as much as I.

You get the idea. Adding a picture of the doggy does great..

use the yahoo address with the posting and turn on your out of office with a message saying

I got so many replies to my doggy giveawy offer that I turned this on until I can reply. I promise to get back to everyone as time allows. I've been using XYZ insert affiliate ot train doggy, so you may want to check it out.

I want to make sure diggy has a good home so please take a few minutes and let me know exactly wy he would be happy with you.

Rinse Repeat

If you do this right then and don't seem too spammy and pick enough niches, you can make some decent sales. I haven't pointed them to a site but it should work too

Craigslist has been really difficult to work with. Especially the California area, well just about every major metropolitan area. I've even done legit ads and was kicked off sometimes. Not to mention the pretty good spamy ads I make. Has anybody tried Backpage or LiveDeal there also on the top ten most searched online classifieds. But still dont come close to craigslist traffic.
