Question Any way to save entire forum threads for offline viewing?

Just like the title asks. Looking for an easy way of being able to do this, as opposed to saving each individual page of a thread. Lots of great threads I would like to save from BHW to read when not online.

    Any ideas?

Yes! I use Evernote to save some threads for later. It's a great way to organize and keep track of methods, etc.

My only problem, is that I rarely return to them. But the times that I need the info, I am very thankful that I did.

Evernote is a great tool (I mostly use it on my Droid), but I don't think it's for offline viewing. That's what I'm looking for. Something to allow me to save onto my PC.

I have cobbled together a solution. It doesn't really save the entire thread, so not sure if this is useful for your needs:
    1. Change your forum settings to view maximum number of posts per thread
    2. Change to mobile view (I find it easier to read)
    3. Download Stylebot and Singlefile Chrome extensions
    4. Use Stylebot to change font sizes, padding settings, hide unnecessary icons etc. as needed
    5. Whenever you want to save a thread for offline viewing, hit the Singlefile/Process icon in Chrome. This will save the htm file locally

Like you, I'd really like to be able to save an entire thread but also block certain users (i.e., all the users who contribute to threads with boilerplate insights like "SEO is a important aspect of IM. A key part of SEO is building quality backlinks. Thankyou."

Just take like 40 screen shots. Then line them all up in the photo editor of your choice. Your welcome

Huh i just go through each thread and copy and paste the most useful posts into a formatted word document. Later I print those out and read them when I am sitting on the toilet or before bed (though with different copies lol)

Don't really use Chrome. Plus it sounds just as easy to do 'Save Page As' in Firefox.

Thanks, but not really looking to buy anything to do this.

Could do that, but looking for something much simpler.

That's what I've basically been doing too. Just looking for something that will save the whole thread so I don't have to take all that time copying/pasting.
