My Research Result on Latest Google Penguin Updates

1. Only those websites get affected who building one type of backlinks i.e either profile backlinks or only web 2.0 backlinks or only blog comment backlinks etc..

2. Those websites get affected who Target only 1 keywords in all backlinks.

3. Those websites get affected who did not maintained ratio of creating backlinks, some day creating 1000, some day 50-100 or none.

4. Those websites get affected who Getting backlinks from deindexed websites.

5. Those websites get affected who Did not build backlinks for their backlinks. i.e tier1 backlinks will target your main websites, so you should build backlinks for tier1, tier 2, tier 3 now on.

6. Those websites get affected where No follow and do follow backlinks ratio is not good.

7. I personally think that facebook likes also decrease ranking. Twitter tweets are good.

If you all maintained all above, then i am sure, you will not get affected by latest panda, penguin updates.

I agree with all of your points except #7. I believe Facebook likes and tweets are both beneficial social signals.

I think all social links from digg, fb, tweets & etc "social" monsters always good for any type of websites.

Well i have tested facebook and twitter. After that i came to conclusion that perhaps google do not likes facebook likes. I tested for 2 keywords, first i tried with twitter retweets and i have seen SERP improvements, but after that when i gave 500 facebook likes, i found ranking decreases. This tested for 2 different keywords and for 2 different web page.

Maybe all those sudden likes raised a flag, you shouldn't have added all of them at once.

well all likes made in span of 24 hours. and all retweets made in span of 24 hours.

maybe too fast, but i think google looks at a more long term time frame, maybe a few likes and retweets over a few months time...

I'm sure you make your tests and I know that SEO means a lot of factors but some of your point are wrong in my case

Most SB blog comments backlinks created (95%) for my website and I was on the rising trend before the update and since the update my serps rise 2 pages

That I thing is true I target 1 main keyword and over 7000 secondary kw in my backlinks

This is true also before the update. I test it. Stop building backlinks for 2 month and this get me from page 2 to page 10. After I start and maintain a constant ratio for a month I rise on page 4 and after the update back to page 2

I never do that and as I said I'm fine. But I do not try to index my backlinks I let search engine discover naturally. Is true that I lose much juice from many from them but I compensate via the quantity.

Not true in may case... I never run a test on that but most my links are no follow and I have no problem. As I said maybe if you talk about 5000 backlinks this may be true but I'm talking about 200k backlinks (backlinks showed in webmaster tool)

This may be true. I said maybe because I did not test it but I notice that in the period that I stop building backlinks I also start to drive likes to my facebook page and since the rank dropped so dramatically, fb likes maybe also a part of this.

But I still believe that this update is most about content and less about backlinks. Panda update was targeting the backlinks Penguin update I think target the content. And maybe the relation between backlinks and content.

i have posted this 5 months ago and from that date to till now whole google seo drastically changes. There is no perfect reason for ranking good or bad.
