Hi all does prosubmitter work and does anybody have a manual for the setup of this program

Are you talking about prosubmitter the directory submitter program? If so it does work and does save alot of time but is still pretty tedious. All it really does is fill in the directory submission form information for you and you have to do the rest.

how do you set it up? I don't have a instruction to install it, could you PM me or share the procedure here.

I will appreciate it.

I was trying to arrange a test run with SEOsoft so I could try it and report back to the forum with thr results. We hit a snag because SEOsoft wanted to protect his customers by not releasing the database (fair enough) and I had to supply my own. The problem is as I dont have such a program I dont have such a database. Once I get one I will do the test and review prosubmitter on this forum.

I agree that it's always best to try the software before buying it. Demo versions that actually portray the software accurately are awesome. What I hate is when the demo doesn't really do anything saying you have to buy the full version, and then the full version sucks.

I think so. The only problem is I am not asoftware vendor so I dont know the ins and outs of protection from hackers once a usable demo is released.

Most of the time the vendor is putting all the risk on you - you must part with dollars that you may never see again whether or not the software works.

PS The is another recent post by Art that may remove that risk altogether

I'm new to BH but I bought pro-submitter recently and it definitely works. seo_soft set it up on my server and helped me with crons etc.

I've only really hit up guestbooks but I'm sure it'll do great for any site that has a form.

As I mentioned, I'm new to BH and spamming + using this script but it works and i'm seeing spider activity from all 3 SEs within a week and I haven't even used the pro-submitter but a few times.

Right now I need to get more urls and then I'll properly set up my crons.

But, if you want a "yes" or "no" answer, it's definitely Yes, it works! How well my sites will do....only time will tell. But, so far I'm happy

Could you elaborate alittle as to why you didnt like it? What sort of tests did you do to assess its usefulness?

Trust me, making your own scripts will save you looooooot's of time. You don't have to fight with stuff like this.

I haven't tried new version of Prosubmitter, I have only the version that floats around here. But at least I wasn't very impressed with the old version.

Unless you really want to scrape the bottom of the barrel, learn how to crack captchas and make linkspamscripts that can spam sites where only real blackhatters can linkspam. This way those links actually count for something and doesn't get you banned as well since there isn't 10000+n links on the same page.

I bought pro submitter but I cant find hosting. Rackforce was my host but it threatened to close my dedicated account coz of pro submitter.

Where do u advise I use this software?

And how are you finding it ?

I bought both the grabber and prosubmitter - should I ask for a REFUND or what?

live, how does rackforce even know your using the submitter if you have your own dedicated box?

The above was my review almost a month ago, below is where i am now:

O.K here we are almost a month later, and boy have i had a hard time thus far with both Pro submitter and the Grabber.

The pro submitter did not work correctely on my Elite dedicated server with Hostgator, so Gregory (SEOSOFT) told me it is my server, i was recomended to use the VPS at Rackforce. So over to rackforce i wend and took there Dunamnic dedicated server for $ 319 (i thought it would be better than the $59 VPS, anyway, moved over all my accounts, and installed pro submitter, on the eye it seems to be working but there is a problem with submittinga and the stats dont refresh, it ate up a HUGE amount of resources even thought i was on a dedicated with high specs.
So again i was told it is server problem and i should have taken the $59 VPS --This dont make sence, because i had a VPS and the only difference it was high end specs, so it should work better than the standard vps.
Then i got a nice email from rackforce saying my server was suspended for running spam program and they suggested i throw away pro submitter. I had to pay $ 50 fine just to again get access to my server and all the accounts on it and had to swear high and low never to use Pro Submitter on there server or promore a domain hosted on their servers with pro submitter.
So obviously i deleted pro submitter asap just so i can at least have access to my 100 other accounts on my server.

So now i have gone to another host, which i am not going to mention in fear of getting that account suspended as well !!!!!
I have a standard VPS reseller account with new host, installed Pro submitter and all look like it is working fine, untill i start submitting, then it dont work.

Contacted Gregory (SEOSOFT) both by email and msn, and ask him to please take a look, and help me make it work.

Conclustion :
I WOULD NOT RECOMEND PRO SUBMITTER TO ANYBODY, SIMPLY BECAUSE IT IS NEAR IMPOSSIBLE TO TO FIND A HOST THAT WILL ALLOW IT, AND BECAUSE DOING A STAIGHT FORWARD INSTALL AND GETTING IT TO WORK 1ST TIME IS NEAR IPOSSIBLE.

THE CHALLENGE:
I CHALLENGE SEOSOFT TO PROVE ME WRONG AND SHOW ME THAT IT IS POSSIBLE TO MAKE HIS PROGRAM WORK ON MY NEW VPS SERVER. I WILL AND HAVE ALLREADY GIVEN HIM FULL ACCESS TO THE VPS ACCOUNT -- HE HAVE FREE RUN OF THE SERVER TO PROVE ME WRONG.

that what i have compiled and read between the lines about this program.

I use prosubmitter for more that one month and submitted for 60000 links on that 12000 are good URL. But bad to say my site got banded from Google. Pls see the site easypetstreetmall.info. So I stopped promoting using prosubmitter

Maybe this software is a good way to get your competitor banned.
