I've worked on some keywords for my site, and I'm ranked 1st today after a couple months of doing minimal seo for a 4400 exact search phrase.

However, I received something like 12 visitors total this week, is google keyword incorrect?

Yes I did.

EXACT VS Broad, you might have selected the wrong one. Or you are ranking 1st for a the country you're living in (Not US?) but still not ranking in the country the keyword gets searches for. One of my keyword ranks 1st when I search from my computer but then when somebody from the US searches there are 4 competitors above me. You can check that by going to http://google.com/ncr (Clear cookies before going and log out of google acc.)

I'm ranked in top 10 for a 700 000 exact monthly searches and I don't see the traffic i expected to see.

You are ranking pos 2 for "like pages for facebook", nobody searches for a keywords with quotation marks. And for the keyword without quotation marks you are not even within the first 5 pages

What is your site about? 18th century boa constrictors who became British coffee bean millionaires? Pretty low visitor count.

I am logged out, and it shows me in first place on my computer.. as well as on my phone connected to a different internet (g3) weird.

Are you in the US? If not then, it's probably showing up tops for your country.

Your site is no where on that first page, for the location that returns 4,400 Exacts on GK, which is mostly likely the US.

Rank Tracker has you at #32 for your search term, explains a lot

Well if your KW is "seasonal" KW, then probably that kw has a very high search volume on certain season. And the average volume in goog kw is for the last 12 month I think. Or probably you just ranked on the hotspot news keyword? Something like "Michael Jackson died" or some kind like that but then start to "fade away" in the last few quarter. You are on Page 9 in Google.

Your browser has cached you, so you think you are first.

Also remember if you Google+ your own page, you'd almost always be first on your own computer.

Just look in GWT to see your average ranking and number of times your site has appeared in the serps for that search.

Once I ranked #2 for a 6600 exact match search and got like 2 hits a week. It's rare but glitches do happen.

you probably gave a "google +1" to your site from your google account and now it appears first on your browser
keep SEOing your site though, don't give up

You also want to check the trend, does it consistent or not? Maybe it has a lot of searches in this month but nearly zero in others.
Another thing, as Google has gone crazy, placing tons of ads above organic so if you are rank #1 organic, you might be at #4, #5 to users.

You can turn off personal results with &pws=0 or use programs like Rank Checker or Serp Attack, Serp Attack has a free version and it has accurate Rank Checker.
