Hi guys

I had some successes with SEO, ranked many websites and made money and sold the websites on flippa and I had one hell of a time, but that was back in 2009 ...

Since then I got distracted by many ventures that have nothing to do with SEO, and recently I did some market research and found some decent opportunities that made me wanna come back again to SEO

But this whole panda/algorithms changes that I've been hearing are scaring me to be honest, back in the day I ranked all my sites with angela packets and forum and comment posting, which obviously is not tha case today

Please lay your wisdom on me :)

Have a wonderful day

Nothing has changed, mate. SEO formula remains unchanged: good content + backlinks = high rank.

constant high pr backlink is the way to go, just started doing them and looks like my site now gets 4x more traffic than yesterday! huge jump! usually i would have around 100 UV's at this time (2PM) but instead i have over 400UV's already and $25 CPA income, should get HIGH income today :) I'm estatic!

Cbnoob has hit the nail on the head here. The only thing I would add is make sure you have a high level of link diversity.

Never too late. Just remember quality over quantity and you will do fine.

Thank you all for your comments,

So I'm guessing contextual links from networks like buildmyrank.com and high PR links mixed with some quality content can get me by fine right ?

Get full interaction with BHW and you can know the same old methods but if lots of new ideas.

It's still the same. Good content, quality backlinks, link diversity, website speed and age, keywords, etc., I'm sure you get it.

I guess what has changed - IMO, since I have only started SEO side of things recently - would be the methods are all the same but now you have to put buffers infront of your site.. So basically same link building techniques but to build up web2.0 and other sites. So basically nothing should point directly to money site anymore..
