    Default FlexSqueeze theme question

I was hoping maybe a few people here use or have used the FlexSqueeze them. Im using FlexSqueeze 1.5 and have what I hope is a very easy question to answer. When I use an image as my header, it still shows the Site Title, and Site Tagline over top of the header. I realized I can go to WP settings>general and delete them in there and it solves the problem, but arnt those lines used for onsite SEO? Shouldnt there be an option somewhere to hide them, but keep them for SEO purposes?
