After looking at all the evidence it seems that the FEDS are coming close to hammering anyone with these kinda sites. They're already shutting down the rest of my competitors. Ironically, I chose to use a .net extension instead of a .co.uk to avoid legal trouble but it seems the US is seeking to extradite anyone who does this.

My question is, does anyone know how I can switch my illegal stream site to a legal one. Gonna have to be done asap. Will miss the paypal money but i'd rather get on the right side of the law. I'm only selling an ebook i wrote explaining how and where to get the streams but i think this is enough now.

I think the only way to have a LEGAL streaming website would be to actually pay for the media licensing.

Have you considered moving everything over to .RU and just redirect from your .NET ...they seem not to really care what you host in Russia.

stay away from this. Even if the feds didnt take down your sites, the advertisers will.

Of course it is possible, Yeah I suggest switching your TLD, find one that isn't controlled by ICANN or one that has the least control by ICANN ru,su,se, stuff like that and try and relocate your servers to a country that doesn't take much interest in the US or its laws then you should be sorted.

This stuff gets done all the time with rouge pharmacys, warez, fraud forums. Some of these fraud forums stay up for years and no one bats an eye lid.

It's possible guys but I'm saying I want to switch it to legal. I've been raided back in 1998 for selling pirate stuff on ebay. First case of its kind in the world might i add (this was when nobody had heard of VideoCDs before. I was making like £100 a disc).

Therefore, I'm on the radar constantly. I just wanna rewrite the site and make money off it. Not saying I can legally have streams but if I had a site at the top for WATCH MOVIES etc, if my site linked to something like Affiliatebuzz surely this would be legal?

Certainly need to have your server in a country who could care less about the us. And use a money source that the US has no juristiction too.

Nice to see another scottish boy on the forum. If you look at some of the video stream sites now there is a lot of them that just simply link to other sites that stream. They are piled with ads and I don't doubt for a second that they rake in the cash. Do a search for 'watch mad men online' or something like that and you will find directories of sites that then link to a stream.

Yeah but this is what is now being classed as "enabling copyright infringement". They're about to extradite that boy in the UK for just linking so gonna have to cut all that out methinks....
