I've learned tons from you guys in the last few weeks, but use SEO a little different than most. I don't directly make any money for it, but being in real estate need to rank for a number of local keywords.

My idea as to scrape every residential address in my city and create a page for each street. This would be over 1000 pages. The goal at the end of the day is to be able to have potential sellers google their exact address (123 Fake Street, City) and have us come up first (or under google maps).

There should be basically no competition for these terms (who googles residential addresses?), but I've never attacked something so large. Content on each of the 1000 pages would be only slightly different from the rest.

I assume I would name the pages mysite.com/thestreetname.html and would have to have a whole string of numbers (123, 124, 123.... etc) so I rank for the individual addresses.

Do you think this is a reasonable way to go about this? Am I missing something? Advice.

well im pretty you will be able to rank for exact addresses. I just dont know whether sellers will google their exact address. What would be the reason?

It would be purely a listing tool to impress clients. I don't think anyone actually google the exact address, but it would be impressive when competing to show clients that you own the internet

If anyone has an any insight before I start this little experiment it would be appreciated. If not, I'll just post how it goes down the road for anyone who cares.

All you would have to do is create the urls, and blast them off one by one in something like article marketing robot.

SEOwise it does very little for me, but my partner wants it to impress potential sellers. Showing we have not only 1st for the "real estate yourcity", but also 1st place for "123 yourstreet" will give us something no one else offers.... as anyone in sales probably knows appearance and differentiating yourself makes a huge difference. (plus one sale and its paid for itself five times over)

It would be really cool if you could scrape images from google maps of each address.

The main thing for ranking 1,000's of low competition keywords is on page seo. Get the address keyword in the title tag, h1 tag, url, meta description, meta keywords, and in the page content and you should rank for these without too much offsite seo. Offsite seo gets extremely hard once you start getting over a couple hundred. Make sure your onsite is perfect and see where you rank, then think about the offsite.

Edit: Oh yeah, make a clear link structure diagram for your site with some good breadcrumbs because 1,000's of pages gets complicated really quick, trust me.
Example. You probably want a section for each state > city > town > street > address so if you're locating google you'd do
California > Mountain View > Amphitheatre Parkway > 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway

each of those would be links to pages full of other link., so the amount of internal links would be into the millions and that would probably rank you 1st by itself

I am working on something a bit similiar but instead I use company names. And I wrote a unique post for each company as some are harder to rank but the similiarity with you is that I also have to rank > 1000 pages.

What I did is created a superspun article >100% unique and set up in such way that I can replace only the company name + page url.

What I'm gonna do is submit the mega spun file with 50 different pages at a time to high pr society so that I get 20 backlinks for each page (2 links in each article) so that comes down to 500 articles or 10 articles for each page. You could do the same but instead use AMR or UAW to keep it low budget.

There are also fiverr gigs available that give you 1000 contextual wiki article pages and you can put 3 links in each, so that would be 3000 links, buy a couple of these and blast the hell out of them with a few scrapebox / xrumer gigs and your done for about 50 bucks. Even better to combine it with UAW and AMR but key is to have a huge unique spun article to begin with.
