Are high PR comment blacklinks worth the effort?
Hello, I know how to find these low OBL high PR AA urls for commenting, but everything is changing in seo so fast that I don't know if it is worth the effort to manual comment on them. If so, what is the best strategy that I dont hurt my sites, I mean how to make it look naturally for google. Big thanks for any opinion... Yeah backlinks I mean, not blacklinks

Every link has some value, but IMHO, I don't focus on them. Usually it is domain PR that is high anyway, not the page the comment is on. That's the problem with blog comments, they keep moving down the blogroll, and change pages. Posts and comments move around a lot. Where I think the main value is, the relevance and possible traffic. If it's not totally spammed, people might read your comment, and check out your site and like what you have to say. Out of the spammy type links you can build, they do have the most potential value. In a lot of ways better than forum profile links. Manually doing these spread out, you will have no issues looking spammy. Just stay fairly consistent.

There is a bit of an art to getting comments accepted on high PR manual blogs...
Obviously you have to be completely on-topic and relevant, but I also find that using proper names as the anchor gets a much higher success rate than using keywords, as it looks so obvious. You still get the authority/trust rank, just not keyword authority.
They are a lot of effort, and you need to choose them carefully, and you also need to practice to find out what works. Track them at the start tom see the success patterns.

So very simple question, it takes quite lot of time to find them and get accepted, is it well spend time or should I focus on doing something else, building more content, web 2.0 and so? Do you use manual comments on high PR blogs as part of your strategy?

Low OBL high PR blogs are really good sources of link juice and keyword authority.
It's worth your time.

Simply yes.
A high page rank comment is worth A LOT more than a spammy comment with 1000 OBL and PR 0. It may be a pain but its worth it...

I agree with this but keep in mind that the majority of blogs that are worth submitting comments to generally use the no follow tag. It's rare to find a blog that is worth submitting to, allows "do follow" links and does not contain spam.
I'm sure a lot of people look specifically for comments like what I have mentioned and all it take is for you to find 1 persons site that does it and just copy all of his blog comment links.

Re: Are high PR comment blacklinks worth the effort?
Hmm now I use scrapebox to find such sites, but following someone who already did that could save me lot of time, I'll definetely try that, thanks for this idea. Well, for that I will need some good backling checking tool, but dont know about any what works really good. Also, how to fast find out if the link is do-follow? Checking the code of every site I visit would slow me down even more..

Re: Are high PR comment blacklinks worth the effort?
The only backlinks checking tool that I use are OSE and majesticseo, these are both paid tools.
I used to use a backlinks tool from seospyglass but have not used it for at least 2 years and a lot has changed since then. That tool was free.
Install the seomoz toolbar or seoquake which has a tool that tells you which links are followed on a page.

.
I second the part about proper names, if you try to keyword stuff it on high pr you get denied almost 100% but using a name and manually writing a relevant comment gets you about a 60% chance of sticking.
