my site traffic 50% dropped but keyword ranking is kinda same!! an ideas guys!!

How long was the traffic sustained before the drop? You could have been getting traffic from sources that were time sensitive that just got less traffic as time passed. When asking for help you need to provide as much information as possible as without information you are not going to get an answer that is accurate towards your circumstances.

my main traffic source was google. almost 98% of traffic.. was top for loads of keywords.. suddenly after feb traffic directly dropped 50%!!

Probably something with geotargeting

not only this site, my another site traffic dropped by 75%

It sounds like you may have lost a lot of longtail traffic if it's a drop in search traffic.

Are you sure that you weren't getting some traffic from other sites that have stopped sending it?

yes i am pretty sure about it..

How old is your site?

Could be Gdance, could be some kind of Late Panda...

its around 4 year.. it never went under these situations...

Compare traffic sources from earlier times with current ones, see what's missing.
Another option would be giving it more time, maybe you're just out of luck :3

Maybe your keywords aint trending anymore or someone else took top spots with better titles.

You need to investigate a bit more.

I'm guessing your not ranking that great for some of your long tail keywords anymore.

i did it... i have nothing to compare. only source of traffic is google!!

Actually i never targeted any long tail one... keywords for which i am targeting has same pos...

if you know how to properly use google analytics, you shouldnt have a problem finding out why your traffic has dropped

Even if you don't target long tail kw, they still do contribute a lot of traffic. For one of my site, the main keywords which I targeted only contribute 30 hits per day, but the long tails which I didn't target add up to the other 600 hits. Each long tail only bring in 1 or 2 hits per day but they add up.

You have to check your logs if your site has drop ranking for the many other hundreds or thousands of low traffic keywords which you didn't realize.

Check Google Trends, maybe kw isn't popular anymore.

Or maybe there are lots of new advertisers in that kw and lots of ads appear above organic results
