Go spend some quality time in bar/resturant/beach.

Come back fresh and start working on "on site seo" along with "off page seo"

Make your pages look like they are really being taken care off.

And yes have g00gle analytics installed and spend just about 10 minutes on it in a day. That will help you save all the time that you spend in PR checking, serp checking etc etc.

Quality time IS working. I enjoy it. I enjoy knowing that while your out at the bar or on the beach, I'm gaining ground.

Nobody cares how much time you spend working, only the results you generate. This isn't a high school math class, the grade here isn't effort based.

I am a lazy bastard, so what I did is starting to sell SEO services, that way I am forced too work as I can't disappoint any customers when they have send the payment.

Working hard is not good. You can't pay in store with "I work 12hours/day". You can however pay with money you made, nobody cares how. Focus on the results

The less you work and the more you earn - the smarter you are.

And vice versa.

Once you get a hang of the basics - automate. Overall checking seprs will get you nowhere. 10 mins is ok, but 2hrs is too much. Spend that time witing content/ SEO.

10 minutes on Analytics can prove to have a massive difference if you know what to watch, so I second that.

Pissing about on the internet getting free money from Google isn't work.

This is wrong, I have been working like crazy a did not make much money in past, in fact spending time here just reading saved me so much time since I have learned methods, tools, got some free, lists, stuff and so on. Now I spend even 50% reading here and learning new stuff and income is growing. Yes you have to work, but more clever than hard.
