Has anybody been having problems with AMR lately? Every time I try to load an article, it freezes..

Just heard from Vince. The software still lives and he has moved house so perhaps needs a bit of time to get sorted.

The server went down whilst he was sleeping and all back now.

Same problem - I just click on something and it freezes LOL! Always something with AMR Uggh!!

This is hilarious if it weren't so sad. I really feel sorry for you people... I ALMOST bought AMR but noticed all the complaints. I've been looking HARD to find an alternative, and might end up getting Article Demon or MAYBE Sick Submitter... so if any of you have found a good alternative to AMR don't keep it a secret. Post up.

Yep same problem. I wish he would just create a dang $5 - $10 monthly fee for the thing so he can use that money to get it working properly. It's become too much of a pain in the ass to deal with the last few months.

I really wish I knew their were so many issues with this program. I wasn't even able to type my name or email addresses without the program being "busy"......However, I read so many good reviews about the program. Did I waste my money by buying this program or is this a one time problem? Should I request a refund?

Problems with AMR are frequent but it's still the best article marketing tool out there. Especially if you do a little digging and scrape additional sites to post to.

I still get anywhere from 800 - 1200 successfully submitted articles a pop.

I feel sorry FOR YOU that you don't have AMR.

Yes there are problems every now and then, but it is still the best.

It is up 95% of the time however when it goes down you see threads about it because people are SO reliant on the software for their work. But it usually works pretty well, definitely worth the occasional headache.

And btw it is back-up again for me and working great

I don't know if you know this, but some people run real businesses and such downtime costs them A LOT of money and causes complaints from customers, so Vince should get his shit together.

I personally own 4 AMR Licences, and I would pay a small monthly fee just to prevent any down time...

I too run an SEO company and am in agreement with you about downtime costing money.

Is it a pain in the ass? Yes. However unless you plan on building your own article marketing software than you are SOL.

You have to roll with the punches, shit happens.

Also if your business is crippled by this occasional downtime in software, you may want to think about that.

I must agree with Gyuman82 - sheesh... I tried using Article Demon tonight instead and talk about want to gauge my eyeballs and brain out! AMR is gold compared to any other article submission software I have tired. I'll wait for it to be repaired LOL!!

I'm visiting AMR forum daily waiting for the new release. Vince last posted in the forum around 2 weeks ago and he said something in the line of 'I don't have to visit the forum if I don't want to'. While it's understandable that he's busy with the house move, with the large customer base he could have hired a tech support to help while he's away. Bugs in version 1.1.0.6 are known and confirmed yet no update for weeks already. Pretty bad customer service.

Its functional from time to time, and then gone for a while, guess u needs to catch the up time for AMR

Well it's working for me today like fire! I've loaded up over 800 new directories so far - no freezing. Big time will come when its time to blast. But I'm thinking it'll be fine.

AMR's been crashing on me about once a day now. Quite annoying. I thought it was out of date and updated but it still crashes.

I then thought it was because something wrong with my PC but glad to hear I'm not the only one.

AMR 1.1.0.7 Beta, released: Feb 12, 2012

Code:

1) Download: http://www.articlemarketingrobot.com/1107beta.zip
2) Navigate to c:\program files\article marketing robot (for 64 bit machines that's c:\program files (x86)\article marketing robot)
3) rename the existing amr.exe to something else just in case.
4) Unzip and place the new .exe in that folder

Okay so...it's not freezing anymore (after downloading the Beta), but now, when I try to submit an article ("Submit"), nothing happens. I mean, the screen pops up where I select to submit to all directories now, and I click submit, and then it says "Done Saving" at the bottom..nothing happens.

PS. I'm submitting to around 5000 directories.

Welcome to the world of AMR. It does things for no reason then all of a sudden will start working again. Then stop for no reason.

Try only posting in chunks of 500. Its a bitch but that is the only way that I could ever get that program to work

100 attempted, 15 successful, 85 failed But hey, it's not an AA list, so I guess it's like Scrapebox..gotta workin on building up a nice AA list.

Yea I used AMR problem free for about 4 months. Then it started freezing or just posting links extremely slow and I canned it. I have more productive things I can do at this point then let it lag my computer for 1 hour per submission.

There is a problem with the AMR since long time why don't you use the other alternative for that.

Did you download the new beta? I blasted to 7000 with no problem - got 281 auto-approvals!

Yup, just started using the Beta and it's working great. No more freezing. So for those who are having problems, install the Beta!

@ Dan Da Man - Did you follow the install directions on the AMR forum? It has to be installed a certain way or it will freeze open opening.

Okay, so I have a list of 5000 where I signed up to and got either "Ok" status or "Email" status.

Anyways, posting right now 217 success, 1700 failed. Looks like I have a lot of testing to do with this tool lmao

@thedon23 Well I got a list of 10,720 and out of that 3406 OK and 775 Sub and 310 Live Links! I added a ton of new directories to get those numbers up take me like 2-3 days but it paid off! LOL

Alright well, once this blast is done, and I get the live links, I'll trim them to root domains, and send you all my domains that were AA (given you send me your AA list as well). Let me know if you're interested in doing that.
