I started myself with micro niche sites for adsense. I learnt kw research and started picking up myself nice keywords with EMDs.. I bought some MNS to get started and i am building new ones myself on daily basis..

Now, my problem is getting them backlinked. I really would like to avoid for the start mass submitters like Scrapebox, AMR and mass backlink building services, since I probably will screw up the things since i don't understand them enough still..

Can someone provide some tips how to get started building backlinks myself?

Try web 2.0 property, article marketing, blok commenting, profile links, social bookmarking...just pick and mix..
