My journey through SEO -- how I researched it.
I started off reading the beginners guide to seo on seomoz -- all of it.
Along the way, I checked the linked pages, read the post, and also read the comments--some of which took entirely too long
.
When something I thought was important came up, I googled the shiznet out of it--like linkwheels, backlinks, etc.
Any tips on researching seo for beginners who haven't set up any sites yet but know the basic on-page and off-page tactics like title, h1, anchor text, article keywords, backlinks, linkwheel, etc.?
I have never implemented any of them but understand the theory behind them.

you want to start by copying and pasting 1+ million page (1000 word posts) websites and blogs all over the internet that you can spin, randomize, and copy and paste on free domain hosts with webmaster tools and analytics enabled. sit, watch, learn.

Are you suggesting that I manually copy and past a txt file of articles/posts with over a million subpages (like comment pagination), or articles from a site that has 1,000,000 subpages, and thus must have high popularity/page rank?
Is there a free tool to do this?
