Excuse the newness. Just recently found this forum after being a member of another one for a long time.

Now, what's your thoughts or experience on using a blog site at say, Wordpress or Blogspot as a main site and building links to it like you normally would?

I was thinking it might be less prone to dancing/sandboxing in the SERPS but I'm not sure if there's something I'm over looking that would make this a bad idea for a new site.
