I am planning to advertise with pop-up traffic and want your experiences about that. Which one do you suggest ?

I would tell you to try PPV

Email submits convert terribly with popups...

The preferred method is to use the popups to gather a list..

then blast to the list.

Really, it is not worth it. Invest in PPC.

Depends a bit on what market you're targeting - check w/ the cpv networks to see where they get their traffic from. Lots of people bashing a particular network shouldn't have been running on that traffic anyway. For example, Trafficvance gets theirs from people downloading gaming toolbars. Then the advertiser wants to run an offer for very sophisticated buyers & wonders why they got burned. Other CPV comes from shopping toolbars. Other CPV networks' traffic comes from bots. Whatever you're into

Plus not necessarily to the op but whoever else reads the thread, remember you're likely paying 10cpm or up - that is very expensive traffic to profit off of. Yeah, people do it but like someone earlier suggested you're much better off building that list.


Maybe you use CPV to test, but you'll be better off going direct to sites which you know sell pops - you can do better than 10cpm
