I have setup a new EMD website and I was wondering what is the best / safest way to rank it for the keyword im targeting? So far I have done the following

-Purchased 20 x high PR do-follow blog comments (PR2-PR5)
-Ran 3 x customised large projects on senuke (Ran all 3 over 4 weeks). I am going to wait a week then blast all urls pointing to my money site with profile links + scrapebox.

The website is about 5 weeks old and is PR0. I am targeting a keyword with 8000 exact local searches with 60,000 competitiors and I consider the competition for top 10 positions to be medium. I want to know

1.) Apart from what I have done and am going to do in the future is there anything else I should do to rank my site #1 ? I have read about people blasting there new emd money site with scrapebox, is this a good idea??

2.) I am currently ranked #5 for my target keyword which gets 8000 US searches a month (Acording to google adwords) and google trends also shows traffic on the keyword. I also own the %keyword% .com domain. But I have only had 8 clicks to my site from google for the keyword im targeting when im in position 5, Does this sound right?? I thought 5th position would of brought me in more traffic??

I would suggest contextual links, blogs comments are good, but not the best

Do you have Market Samurai? Or traffic travis? Need to know more about your competition as the number of results doesn't mean a thing.

You need to get more articles, 3 is not enough at all. Try adding one every day, which I know is really hard, but it will get you to #1 so much quicker.

+ Social Bookmark your site. (this will boost your rank few spots especially for new site)

My site is the #5 ranked site with the blue line next to it. I understand what everything means in the colums apart from BLS & TBL, what do these mean??

I can also see I am missing the keyword in the description (Schoolboy!!) Do you guys think it will be easy to rank ?? Traffic Travis did say Easy 9%

BL is backlinks to the page that is ranking. BLS is the total backlinks to the whole domain. TBL is backlinks from .gov and .edu domains.

I think you can increase your rank easily, buy some high pr blog posts and/or homepage backlinks. And make sure your keyword is in your description.

Is this a English language website or you target non-english country/google.

Competition is low with 8000 exact searches.

as far as i can see it is 8000 searches, but being at position 5 and getting very little clicks im wondering if its not 8000 searches??

Declining interest and traffic, trending towards 1x the average (which includes 4 years of nothing), and highly local to Virginia and surrounding areas. Interesting. I hope your keyword is something that will find renewed interest in the coming years, or at least level off for you.

Basically if you try to rank for the term blue sky, you'll have the domain

Exact Match Domain.... you have keyword "dog training" emd domains are dogtraining.com dogtraining.net dogtraining.org

Dude, its top 3 in the serps or bust. Personally I only see my sites at 1 or 2 making money but maybe at 3. 5 Spot? No Way.
