AMR help. how do u know which sites to blacklist
hello,
i have been using AMR for the last month now and i know it is a great tool but I am struggling with it. I DL probably all the directories that was ever posted on BHW .
I have followed instructions like using email from domain and not using free emails, use 6 word password and include capitals, numbers and letters, and use fake name generator, use deathbydecapters .
after i sign up, i get many results in the quick results area such as: captcha failed, error 404, unknown, signed up, server error, registration not allowed, and timed out.
which one of these do i blacklist? obviously i do not blacklist 'signed up' and 'captcha failed'.
another question is: when i sign up then i used up decapchas but do i use up decapchas when i blast?
theres probably a whole lot more questions but i can think of any right now. thanks ahead for any advice.

Re: AMR help. how do u know which sites to blacklist
I will leave the ones that don't send proper email confirmation for a while. I leave errors that were made by the content, captcha.
I'll run a list several times and then blacklist the 403 and 404 errors, database errors (anything that continually fails after 5 attempts).
Here is a big thing though, space it out over a couple days. Don't run it 5 times in a row, a lot of it has to do with temporary downtimes.
Many will fail because too many links, those you keep and make another list with (where you only submit one link to them).
When you're done, anything that has failed 5 times, blacklist it. Be picky with the list the first time through to clean it up.

thanks for the advice. how do u effectively track the ones that failed more than 5 times? i assume you need to export the files onto excel and have some sort of excel knowledge?

Yes. As phpbuilt said, leave any that could be due to downtime or http errors etc. you can also safely blacklist those that say 'not accepting articles' as these never will.
If you know what you're doing you can export all the failed ones (several times in a row) and then sort them in excel to find the ones that failed every time. I always look for 6 times in a row. 5/6... Around there. You can use an excel fucntion to count how many occurences there are and sort on that; then remove all that don't show up all 5/6 times.
As phpbuilt says, this needs to be over different days and time periods though: not one day. Then you can take that list and export the directory ID's and import them directly into the AMR blacklist DB via MS Access (after adding in an 'email all' field), if you have it. But do this wrong and you'll cause a load of problems.
I could give a step by step, but it could change with the supposed upcoming DB management update. And really, for this level of mucking around, you really need to understand what you're doing. It's not particularly safe for me to share this kind of thing. Form what I've said, if you know DB's and excel you'll be able to figure it out.
