I'm trying to get some fresh proxies for Scrapebox from the proxy lists section but I'm not getting so many working ones, most of them are showing either "IP Blocked" or "Error 404 Connection refused (Error #10061)", only like 60 out of 1400 pass the test. I used to get much higher success, more passed proxies but I'm not sure what happened lately. My settings have always been 15 s for timeout and 20 for simultaneous connections, hope somebody knows the answer.

The built in proxy scan will have a very high fail rate. You can try getting proxies from proxybonanza or yourprivateproxy to use with SB.

I'm really not looking to spend hundreds of dollars on proxies. The proxies listed in the related section used to work fine until something happened, I tested proxies from various threads and all are failing for some reason.

If you are using free proxies, even from sources other than SB, than it's normal to have very high failure rates.

This is because too many people have abused the proxies. There are only a set # number of proxies at any given time. This why free proxies become useless so quickly since too many people are using(and sometimes abusing) those proxies.

My advice would be to invest in a good source of proxies for scraping(shared) and posting(private). You don't have to spend hundreds of $$, especially if you are stating out, and many people will actually trick themselves into thinking that you need a lot of $$ to move forward in IM.

Re-investing into your business is absolutely essential to success, but the good thing is that you can do it at your own pace.

There are a lot of great services here. I personally love proxygo's service. I have been with him for a couple of years now, and I have had nothing but great results.

Well, thank you, but I believe that the issue lies somewhere else, I used to get hundreds of working proxies at a time, from the BHW section and other sources (posted for SB). But now really things went shit, nothing is working anymore as it used to and I'm hardly getting more than 20 working proxies. But it seems that I'll have to sign up to some service to get going...

Make sure you are not using the old proxy checker, and make sure "ignore google" is checked.

The SB instance is up-to-date, can you please explain? I'm using the checker in the UI, the 3rd box.
