I got arrested for being drunk and pissing in an alley, and a week later i googled my name and saw my jailbase.0rg arrest record in the serps. The website says they don't accept money to remove listings, and that they keep them in the serps for 6 months after the arrest.

I'm freaking out about this because if anyone from work sees this, I'll get fired on the spot. What's the quickest way to remove it from the serps, can the individual page be sandboxed if I xrumer/scrapebox it with viagra links?

Any help would be much appreciated, I'm very worried about this.

My guess is that from a legal standpoint, there is nothing you can do since infractions are a matter of public record...so hiring a lawyer to scare them by throwing around words like 'libel' probably won't work.

As for removing something from the SERPS, I'm not sure it can be done unless the authors want to remove it. Perhaps you can ask them to meet you 1/2 way and instead of referring to you as John Doe, refer to you as J. Doe...that may allow you to deny a relationship if anyone from work sees and mentions it. I'd probably contact the poster again with a sob story, 'look man, i appreciate what you're doing here and your right to do it, but i'm a single parent, i've got a kid, no savings and i'm the sole breadwinner..if i lose my job, which i will if someone sees this, it means that we'll all be on the street or in a mission somewhere, because i have no family...i made a mistake and i learned my lesson, but please, have some christmas compassion...i really need a break right now.'

that would be my first choice, then if it didn't work, i'd follow flexnds' advice regarding irm...but you might be able to avoid all that work with a phone call or a visit. the sooner you get on this the better. anyway, good luck mate...will be anxious to hear how things work out for you.

Time to do some IRM (Internet Reputation Management) on your name. Check out some IRM techniques. See this post here

Same concept, except you'll want to use your name as author, forum username, social accounts, etc. You may even want to write a bio (It can be fake and it does not even have to be about you). Just make a fake person with the same name if you don't wanna post info about yourself.

Do it all, get the domain with your name if it's available optimize your FB account, in fact sign up at every social network with your name. Same for article directories, use your name as author. You can even put Written by: Your Name in the title as well. Just squeeze your name in every where possible using the post I gave you.. Trick here is to push it to page 2 or higher for any related query. If done right, I bet you could push it to page 5 or higher.

Sorry for your luck. Would be interested in hearing if there is a way to drop it down. My neighbors mugshot comes up a few listings down from her business.

Totally agree! Time to Rep your name up. After a huge push pushed down the bad shit in serps. This happen to a couple buddys of mine after they had a shit load of places taken down for growing weed.

your specific name would have very low competition so you could easily just rank 10 of your own sites onto the 1st page and push their site to the 2nd page. =P

edit - oh i see that's exactly what's been said in the previous post's link lol

I may have hit a bit of luck...

I used to write for my high school newspaper, so the point is I have 30+ articles with my name as author on a legit .edu site (totally forgot about this).

So I'll do a few LPs to each of them and see what happens.. Followup question though, how quickly do you think I can bump it off the front page? If it takes a month to bump it off, I'll have to fess up to my boss since I'm supposed to inform them of any arrests immediately. If I can get it done in a week, I may be ok. Thoughts?

BTW, thanks for the support guys.

I had a minor issue similar to this when one of my companies went bust.

That result is now at the bottom of Pg9.

Do the same as you would to rank a site, create dozens of Web 2.0 sites, submit articles under your real name and then create XRumer profiles using your real name linking back into these properties.

Also buy your name in .com .net varieties and write a dozen blog posts in each - just make the blogs about something your interested in and before you know it people searching your name will be impressed rather than concerned.

Totally agree with flexnds.Anyway what ever you do,don't do any backlinking with sb or x,in a no competition niche it will rank number one with suppliment placements LOL

Reputation management as has been said in this thread. That's what you need to start. You've already got the motivation so just dig around. I'm doing it for someone who wants their forum name(not real name) buried and you basically can't get rid of it 100% but you can still bury it. The best place to hide the truth is in a sea of lies so you need to pound away at your good name so hard that the SEs bury your record in an ocean of concocted rubbish about you.
