I just logged into my account and seen this, so I'm not sure if it's for new customers, all customers, or long time customers, but with the purchase of any domain TLD, you get the matching .org if it's available. ANd as always free privacy.
Pretty slick deal, pretty much $5 per domain, even less if you're a loyal member.

What's hilarious is that enom(the parent company) just told customers that renewals and new registrations will be $40 because of price hikes. And here is there other company slashing prices in half lol.

Just checked the website and it still shows 9 dollars something for .org. I think it is only for existing customers.

Doesn't work like that. You buy any other tld, lets say xxx.com. If the xxx.org is avilable then you can select it for free just before confirming the payment. Just look for an option to select the .org for free in the shopping cart.

And its for new customers too.

FYI: they still support it, just not publicly. They have not withdrawn official support for the bill.
