Access to a Decent PR SITE
Hey guys,
I have access to a decent PR site, I'd like to put an anchor in but it's not mine. I have access however. Is there any recommendations as to where I should put it? I'm thinking within the posts, or even footer.

Re: Access to a Decent PR SITE
Not what I've heard... further towards the top is better based on everything I read. And not on a sidebar or in tiny font.

Re: Access to a Decent PR SITE
So you want to put in a link, so the siteowner doesn´t recognize it?
Then just put the link into the text and change the color to the textcolor and also it shouldn´t underline when mouse-over.
For black textcolor it could look like this:
Code:
<a href="YOUR LINK" style="color:#000000;text-decoration:none;font-weight:normal">YOUR ANCHOR</a>

This has got to be the worst idea ever. Hiding a link by changing the font colour to match the background is spam 101. Google implemented things to catch this sort of behaviour about, um... 6 years ago

Think like a search engine for 1 minute. Ask yourself this question: Why would anybody want to hide the presence of a link within a body of text?
There is no legit reason.
So from the perspective of Google, that would be classed as a suspicious link.

Re: Access to a Decent PR SITE
Ok you´re probably right, but I still think that´s better than hiding a link with matching it the BGColor
