Whats the best place to buy Premium Domains?

Is it go daddy auction ? or do you recommend anywhere else

Generally, I would recommend seeking out a domain broker if you need to buy them in bulk.

There's sedo.com, godaddy auctions, flippa.com, digitalpoint forum. The best way, though, is probably doing a little keyword research for the niche(s) you're interested in, adding ".com" via a spreadsheet for all the keywords you want, and clicking on them. I've found almost half keyword-rich domains are either up for sale or have nothing on them (then I do a whois, email and mail them, and sometimes pick up some good names fairly cheap).

I check auctions at godaddy for anything good.
But if there's one I really want, I email the owner and see.
A lot of times it's those stupid generic pages. I don't understand why they aren't willing to sell for a couple hundred bucks. I can't imagine they get more than $20/year in profit for some of them. I lost an expired auction to someone. I forget what the price was, but all he did was go and put one of those generic search pages up.
Obviously they are making some money, because some of them have thousands in their portfolio. Who knows, maybe they'll look to sell in 10 years when .com/.net/.org are very rare.
