Not knocking you personally, so don't think this is directed at you, it's not.

I find it funny, that some people who are selling "web 2.0" stuff, hardly fill me with confidence when they cleary don't know what "web 2.0" is!

I mean gradients and fonts have about as much to do with web 2.0 as the pope has to do with atheism. Web 2.0 itself is really only a phrase coined by O'Reilly publishing (i believe i read somewhere) and is really used to describe interactivity seen in CMS programs and blogs.

I created a web 2.0 based site, and if you remove the images folder and the CSS, the site is still web 2.0 as all the interactivity (RSS, social bookmarking, comments etc etc) still remains.

I think some companies just don't have a clue and rely on the naive "marketeers" who don't really understand web 2.0 and then go and buy anything that appears will give them a web 2.0 site.

Oh well, that's my piece. Seems like a nice collection by the way!

hey antx16, thanks for this useful web 2.0 kit. I haven't dled it yet, but will once I get home. This could come handy in enhancing a site.

Well, the images look attracting and I agree with Barry Scott in that it's not all about colours and gradients - they could have been achieved beforehand as well.
