in my opinion even those high valued article directories like ezinearticles are gonna lose their link juice in time,even if they try hard to make sure their articles are unique as much as possible eventually in the end its a link farm.

Ezinearticles is losing its charm and in an attempt to regain "power," editors have been rejecting articles like I've never seen before. In my opinion, posting quality articles to your own site would be far more beneficial especially what Google is up and doing right now.

EZA had been rolling out measures to regain trust from google since feb but it seems that its not working and the stringent checks on the articles is taking its toll on tired IMers like us...

Ezinearticles is just "ONE" article directory.
There are thousands out there, and dozens of AA PR5's.
I don't see why people are making a big deal out of that site. Perhaps in the old days it was a strong authority site but now it's not worth shit (IMO).

I had a good bit of articles front page in EZA and have used them since 2003. I can honestly say post panda they are not nearly as good. Yeah nothing works like back in the day but still EZA lost a lot of juice. Put your articles on your own site it will be just as good or better IMHO at this point as said earlier. Also to be fair they really have tried to clean up their act but when google turns their back to you and lets one go you can fan the air but the room will stay empty regardless. I liked working that site but ROI is not nearly the same anymore IMHO.

It used to be really good as the articles from that site easily rank well in Google. Not only was the link juice good, but it brought good organic traffic as well due to the high ranking of the articles.
Which is why many are making a big deal.
