So I created a site with 30-50k searches a month, made a facebook page, and am getting near 1k fans for that.

When I google my keyword, the fanpage is ranked #3 and has nothing on it except a link to my site, but my site is on page like 15....

HOw is this even possible? I have done alot of backlinking for my site and only gotten fans for the facebook page..

I guess it is good though isnt it?

Because facebook is a more trusted entity than your site.

Exactly - Facebook has a Page Rank of 10

I'd feel unstoppable if Google regarded one of my websites that highly!

If you used seo technique your keyword on the top in the search engine before 10 years people used social media for the traffic, now mostly business man create a domain and hire a good seo optimizer for promoting of his business.

WTF.... I spent over $200 on SEO to rank my FB fan page over the last 2 months, and I have not manged to go past page 2-3

My competition is like 20-40K in quotes.
