So after running an Ebay ad for roughly a week, I have a HORRIBLE view count. I've viewed my own ad more times than all of Ebay combined.
Because my view count is so low - I know they are simply choosing to not click on my ad and learn more. So this led me to believe that my ad title/presentation wasn't up to standards. So I changed my Title each day for the past 4 days, even added a subtitle, added a border, added highlighting, changed my item image, I've done it all.
I've done it all, and each time I change something, I still don't see any improvements. When I look at other people in the same niche, their view counts blow mine out of the water (even if they posted AFTER me!).
I'm truly out of ideas, so here's my question(s): do you think ebay users look at usernames, and number of sales, before they decide to even click on an item to check it out?
My ebay username is kinda weird, perhaps people don't respond well to it? And my sell count is low, too (but I've been a member for 1.5 years).
So what do you guys think? In your experience, can these two little details crush a campaign? Or am I just not trying hard enough to optimize my listing?
Thanks for any help,
Shaun
