More and More Weird Search Results in Google - Who's Manipulating the Search Results??

Hi

Recently I was cought by suprise when I typed in 2 keywords - one of them being a VERY high searched for keyword and google returns

just this

hxxp://somshorturlservice.com which redurcts to affiliate link or site...

Basically googles giving a short url service as a result..

??

How do you get this done? Backlinking?

What service was it? I highly doubt if it was a famous one like bit.ly or tinyurl etc..

Wont give the exact keyword - but very high searched + Making money keyword

Figure like he makes $50-$150 per day

Prolly backlinks on some pretty key sites. Really trusted sites. Did you run it through yahoo site explorer to see what kind of links they're getting?

mmm weird I have never seen a urlshortened site in the top pages for any search. Is it SB links, profiles, bookmarks or is it a general mixture of everything?
