Default Niche Video Site Builder

Hi Guys,

I have been lurking for quite some time. I am happy to be in your presence. You have definitely been cutting edge in your advice, information and sharing. I owe lots of my success to you. Thank you.

I was originally involved in the original dot com years and ran away after the bust. And for the last couple of years I have gotten back into it and been building niche sites and products. I finally feel like I kick off the training wheels and am doing this full-time. I have never been so happy.

As soon as I can figure out what value I can bring to the table, I will surely participate more. FYI, I am an ex-corporate enterprise software (SAP, oracle, etc...) marketing and sales type so I don't know how I can help, but let me know.

Usually, when a product is released, I wait to hear what you have to say or wait for your to share....

But I have been feeling antsy about this one particular product and maybe you can help me. I really don't want to to pay the money....I am on a spending budget due to Christmas. But I really want to see if it is worth the hype or another overpriced product.

The product is Nice Video Site Builder and supposedly with I can slam out video sites that will rank well without doing much work. I have no association with these guys...I just want a good product for adding videos to my main domains.

My question is this a good deal...and more importantly, if it is, can you get it for me?

Thanks,
Alexa...

And don't forget, if I can do anything in return (nothing illegal) let me know! :-)

Here's a script which is a Niche Video Script. I have no idea what one you're on about, but this one can be used to create tag clouds and for each tag it creates an html seo friendly page. Videos are pulled from Youtube.

You do have to make a certain number of posts to get this script and with the above being your first, this is to prevent it being the last!

Barry is right. I have two sites on the script he provided and their is not a thing wrong with them. Both are about two months old and took me about an hour total to customize both of them. I have over 17,000 pages indexed with the youtube niche script.

However, after you build a couple of these, you will probaby want to get another script. They are pretty basic but I generate a nice CTR with Adsense on site and the other site does about $30 in CPA ads. Not bad considering I have absolutely zilch to them accept add more tags to the clouds.

Thanks Barry and Ruck! I appreciate it.

I did not add the link to the site that I was referring to because I did not want anyone to think that I was trying to promote anything, but the script is being promoted by JP Schoeffel. You saved me big time because it looks like the script works pretty much the same way yours does.

Thanks again....

Alexa

Barry: thanks for the script!
Now i have a dumb question... how are the pages indexed? i dont see anything created on the server other than the files uploaded... nothing cached or dumped in a db, so the pages are created dynamical with .htaccess? but if the pages are not static how can be indexed and ranked... i hope you understand what im trying to say...

I am a video script whore, and have yet to use this one. I would imagine though it's php and it builds the pages server side on request like you said. I'm sure someone with a slightly richer knowledge could probably clarify though.

That script requires the old youtube api key --- you can't get it anymore to my knowledge.

Since "G" bought them youtube doesn't require a key anymore, but you have to use the gdata api to access things.

The old youtube api is listed as legacy and stops being support totally in aug. of 08.

Bad news is that the php gdata code requires php 5.14 so we won't see many public aps like this for a bit... since most shared hosts still seem to be running 4.

You know, as far as I have come in a few short months, every once in a while it sounds like someone is speaking Klingon.

I have no idea what the hell this post means. Kepla!

Where did you get the key? I looked for one - old pages didn't seem to work anymore.

Youtube had an existing API.

Google BOUGHT Youtube.

Google is switching things to THEIR API (Gdata).

The old Youtube "KEY" system is considered depreciated and won't be supported after August of 2008.

Doesn't seem to be a way to actually GET a key from youtube.

Screw the federation - Klingons Rule

That make more sense? - I was in a hurry when I wrote earlier.
