Dividing Sitemap ??

hi

does it makes sense to divide a sitemap eg 50 if its lets say 1000 links on it or does it make no difference as if it was just one ???

because its much easier to put all backlinks just one big sitemap

Hi filmont

All the time you make a site make all your links in indes page no more than 100 per index
(google tell it online)

After if you have 1,000 links make 10 sub index pages
and make sitemap for each

just a little secret to index quicker your "index pages" make a blog and some messages go quicker sometime than sitemap

and with all infos i know i do not win money incredible

How bigger the sitemap, how longer it takes for google to read.. and even at some points he will ignore it or wouldn't gather all links.

Creating subsitemaps are great! You could make the main sitemap that only redirects to subsitemaps and these subsitemaps should contain maximum 200-500 links.

1. with all links
2. divided sitemap
