How do I easily find my rank in keywords and find alternative keywords

Yo, blackhat seo newb here. I've just started out looking at my competition in the military news, open source intelligence niche. I need an easy way to see where my site stands on those keywords and find alternatives.

You can download traffic travis free version.
There is a keyword ranker into it.

Otherwise, you could try market samurai or seo spyglass.

Thanks much for the information. I've decided that I am going to pay for SEO service instead of screwing up my sites rankings. I'm looking at my competitions keywords at the moment and building links with their keywords.

You can also take a look at your analytics account and see what people are searching the most to land on your page. That should give you a little bit of guidance for what other keywords to go for.

One shouldn't blindly trust even so-called professional SEO Services, otherwise they could screw your rankings. One should really know what he is asking for and, specially, getting.

I agree that you need to do some homework and understand what you are considering a SEO professional for. You can then at least understand the reports and know you are getting your monies worth.
